This printer/copier/scanner has all the features we needed, was moderately priced, was easy to set up, and is easy to use. Prints/copies/pictures are of high quality. We highly recommend this product!

It works exactly as advertised, but the software for scanning is lacking. Maybe it’s my incompetence, but I would like to isolate an area before the scan rather than have to edit afterward. Changing inks is a breeze. The two-sided printing feature works without a hitch.

So far been great printer, reasonable ink cost and longevity. Scans great and copies are clear. Different paper sizes took some getting used to to setting up.

I needed a new printer, it was between a Cannon and this brother printer, chose the Brother because of lower price of ink and because I liked everything the Brother offered.

I have been using it approximately 2 months and it appears to be very suitable for use in a home office. It was easy to set up and so far does not seem to be an ink guzzler. Color prints are true and crisp. I don’t do much photo printing.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. This printer is great quality for the price. It prints in color very nicely. The product instructions were very clear and I was able to easily follow the instructions to put it together with no issues. The printer prints wirelessly from your device which is very convenient. However, I found that sometimes printing from my device would cause the printer to print really slow. I think this has to do with the speed of the internet connection at that moment. The only things I dislike about the printer are the occasional slow print and the paper tray. The paper tray is plastic and seems cheapy. You have to completely remove it from the printer to load paper. Other than those two things, the printer does a great job of printing and I love the wireless capabilities.

This is a great printer, fast, efficient, easy to use. It took no time to set up. I use it for personal use and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality printer.

I have not had any concerns about the printer…literally know it’s going to do what I need it to do every time.

I have had this printer for about 6-9 months and have experience paper jamming and horizontal printing issues for several months. The instructions for resolving the printing issues are not easy to use and did not resolve the problem.

I am pleased overall with this printer. It has net my needs well and made working from home much more convenient. It has one downside: photos. I find the colors washed out a bit, the images not quite as sharp as my last printer, and there are definite vertical lines in the photos. You don’t see them casually, but you see them if looking critically, as you might when you are preparing a gift for someone or printing for a keepsake. Other than that, it prints, copies, and scans very well. It is easy to send print jobs from your phone, and it stays online, unlike other wireless printers I have used. I recommend this printer unless your chief use is photos.

Makes a vertical line down the page from time to time

Have not used it that long or often but as other Brother printers I have used in the past it does everything I need and more.

Prints, copies seem to be fine. But this sure is one clunky, noisy machine. You think it is going to break down. Too soon to tell if it will be durable. Give it a couple of years and we’ll find out.

It is amazing that you can get a great color printer for such a low price. I have used Brother products for over 20 years and have always been satisfied.

New, working fine. Occasionally refuses to print. Remedy is to empty printing queue, disconnect and reconnect power cord.

easy to set up & trouble-shoot – minimal use of ink

My printer is 2 months old. I have used the print, scan and copy function. Very useful. I purchased the LC3013 ink by Brother. Printing only black -magenta, cyan, yellow not printing. Did a purge and 3 nozzle clean ops. Printing ok after that BUT ink levels on colors dropped below to a 1/3 level-almost empty! Price for the LC3013 carts are expensive, now the 3 colors were sucked up with exclamation marks on 2 of them. Extremely disappointed at the ink usage. Tech folks were contacted, good people but I still need to know why so much ink was used.
