5 calls to Brother they helped getting the printer working. Each day the computer can’t communicate printer. Their fix lasts only a day.

Great printer with a lot of features for its price. Light duty for home use, but a lot of business printer features. Only issue is Brother replacement ink is expensive.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. Upon first opening this printer I found it to be so small compared to other printers I have owned, which is a very good thing. The instructions were clear and it was very easy to set up. I was up and running in less than 15 minutes. It is fast and easy to print from my phone even. It is definately great quality. My favorite part is the small lightweight size and fast printing speed. I don`t really have any suggestions at this time. I am very happy with this printer.

Set-up took a bit but it was simple, just follow the steps. It pretty much set itself up, even the wireless aspect. My previous printer was a nightmare and cost me money to have someone remotely set it up. Thanks Brother !!

B&W quality is excellent. Colors are OK but not highly saturated.

It has lived up to my needs, prints good, holds more paper than my HP. Brother could delete half of the spam on the loading disk and it would do the same thing. I like the ink cartridges, but I do not get the picture sharpness as my HP. All in all, it is a better printer.

Does everything that I thought that it would and has extra features that I might need in the future. The best thing about Brother printers is that they last forever and Brother stands behind them. Can’t say the same thing about the HP that I had!

It performs perfectly every time. I’ve had several other printers and none were is good as this Brother printer. The price was reasonable and the ink is not extremely expensive. That’s a big plus.

This printer worked great the first time and was not difficult to set up. It wasn’t difficult to connect it wirelessly with two computers in our house, one on the desk right next to it and the other one downstairs, one a PC and the other a Mac. It is noisy. We don’t yet know how much ink it uses because we’ve had it less than a month.

Refer to my previous review titled Another Year Another Printer I have had this Canon MFC-J895DW for several weeks now and have given it a fair running test. As before I stated the Brother Printers have served me well. Like I said it isn’t a quality photo printer and is fair as such. Two things now stick out to drop a star. First it’s firmware will not display the ink levels in after market cartridges. Secondly when I print a color photograph in maximum quality on an 8 1/2 X 11 sheet, between processing the data and completing the print it takes over three minutes. I have an 8 core / 4.0 GHz CPU, 16 Gig of 2600 RAM and an 8 GIG Display card. I have been through four other printers (another major brand) in the last couple of years now. They all are excellent on photographs and speed. However they all have not lasted more than 18 months.

Trouble with reversal. Paper half way out and reversed and went back into the printer.

I’ve had a lot of printers, but this is the fastest and so far uses a lot less ink. Cons; wish there were more adjustments for sharpness, contrast, and color. Scanning text in black and white could be improved. Over all, this has been a great printer!

This printer is very quick for printing files sent to it. The printing comes out very clear. It is very quiet too. It does seem to use a lot of ink. For how fast it is a printing, unfortunately it is just as slow at copying images. It is also interesting in the number of ways you can paper, envelopes, etc.: One at a time via the back of the printer; one or many at a time via the top of the printer; or via the main paper tray underneath the printer. Scanning works well and produces very true images. Similarly for faxing.

I am pleased with the performance of this printer. When my non-profit initiated the Shelter in Place, I ordered this printer to work from home. I did experience a hiccup with the ordering process. I initially received accordion file folders rather than the printer. After a few phone calls, and email exchanges, and a week longer, the printer finally arrived. The only functional issue i’ve had is inserting the paper tray. It can be a little fussy.
