Bought this after my other Brother Printer failed to print

So far we really are liking our Brother printer, one downside I’ve noticed is the default setting to use best print quality and to get normal print quality on something you only need copied, for example, you have to go through steps to change paper, etc. if you use ink jet paper, it automatically chooses best print..

Works as advertised, no problems whatsoever…A very good machine for the price

The printer is made well and works well. I like the double-sided print capability and the relatively faster operation compared to others I’ve owned in this lower category. No complaints. Would recommend and buy again.

I needed a printer and I didn’t want to spend a ton for it. After reading a bunch of different reviews, this one came up as a pretty solid reasonably priced model. And so far, it has been great! Love that it doesn’t take up a ton of space. Cartridge loading was a snap. Setup was like 5 minutes if that. The only reason I was confused at all is I expected it to be more of a hassle, but no, up and running in practically no time. So far, it prints great for my needs. I’ve not printed photos or anything super color heavy on it to say how it does there. Printing from my iPhone is a huge bonus. Scanning function took a minute to figure out, but once I did, that worked great. Overall, very pleased.

I used to love Brother. This printer I do not like. Initially, it gave me lots of problems because it kept saying paper was jammed and paper was not jammed. I started putting in more paper and that problem seems to be resolved. However, it will not let me print when I am low or out of color cartridge print when all I need is black print and I have lots of it.. So I have to buy color print when I really don’t need it. This really annoys me.

Very good printer for home use. Reasonably priced and easy to work with. Printer cartridges are priced on the low price side. Features including wireless printing and easy loading of paper.

So far so good, still learning all the features of this product.

This has been a great printer and scanner so far. The only feature I’ve missed so far is duplex scanning, but I don’t need to do that very often. The iPrint&Scan app works nicely and can scan at high resolution when needed. I love that I can send a scanned document directly to email.

I received the Brother-MFC-J88950W, All in One Printer, Copier, Scanner, Fax. I have been very pleased with it. It makes very good copies. I found the scanning process a little confusing, however. But that’s because I am “technologically challenged”. 🙂 I have been told that the ink cartridges are much cheaper than what I was paying for my HP Printer. That is definitely a big plus!

Only objection is the photo quality. Otherwise a good printer on other functions

I needed something that had multi-functions and didn’t take up too much space. I have a larger Brother Printer/Scanner/Fax at my office and have been very happy with it so the quality convinced me to get this model for my home office.

All good at this time Pros: Design, Display Screen, Easy to Use, Features, Performance, Quiet, value Great price easy setup Purchased for color and b&w sheet printing with occasional copy. I know it can scan, fax and photo print but I have a nice color photo printer and a good scanner for photo printing/scanning connected to my desktop. I don’t use faxes. I also have a laser printer for large b&w printing jobs. So this was purchased for printing from our iphones, Fire tablets and Windows 10 tablets. Supplies are not inexpensive on this machine so it is going to be used as a small convenient way to print/copy a few pages. Working on all devices, Fire tablets were the most challenging to connect but I was successful in connecting. Working smoothly on all devices over my Wi-Fi Great purchase!

With Covid 19 lockdown, i suddenly find my self homeschooling my kids and using this printer everday. We use brother printers at my job they are very reliable. Same goes for home versions. This has met all my printing & scanning needs to get me through these times.

This printer was easy to set-up, compatible with multiple devices, and easy to use. It was the quickest printer I can remember setting up, even without help from my son. We’re very pleased.

This was the lowest model number that would allow me to scan and save to a thumb drive. Still can’t get it to scan from scanner to printer without opening the iPrint app. Would be nice to just press the scan button on the machine. Printing is decent but machine does seem quite noisy. Have used it for scanning old pictures and the results were very good. Irritating that when using the ADF to copy the the pages I was copied must be face down. Opposite of my Brother laser printer.
