With enough ink to print for up to one year included in the box, this MFC-J995DW All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

Although the price was a lot higher than I really wanted to pay, it had the greatest reviews. It does everything I ask it to do. Printing quality depends on program I am using. Scans well with good resolution. Don’t fax anything so can’t comment on that feature. Ink use is only so so. I try to use black and white with ink saver as much as possible, but it looks like the color may not give me a years use. Time will tell.

I purchased this printer in Jan. 2019. I am just now ordering my first print cartridge replacements. Print quality is what you set it to. I like how fast it prints in quick mode. I scans and copies as you set it. I really like the fact I am not purchasing so many cartridges that are thrown away.

Easy to set up and use. I have not tried to print a photo yet. It faxes fast and prints fairly fast. Screen could be bigger but it’s still usable. Overall I’m very satisfied with this unit. Fast response from the computer to print is appreciated. The unit is made well and the placement if the cartridges is a major plus.

Wanted a printer where the ink wouldn’t break the bank. This was the compromise. It has the best price on ink that I could find. It’s a very good printer. That said, it doesn’t do photos like my old Canon but I knew it wasn’t going to. Does all that scanning, copying, and faxing and has a good interface. I connected it right to the the home network and put the Brother tool kit on each computer. Setup was simple with no problems.
