With enough ink to print for up to one year included in the box, this MFC-J995DW All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

I love this printer. It prints very quickly even when doing double sided prints. The colors are great and I like that I can set up automatic order for refill. It is a tiny bit noisy when printing but now that I’ve used it for awhile don’t even notice it anymore. The display is great and easy to use. I like that it gives step by step instructions that are easy to follow. I would buy this product again as well as recommend to others.

Only had this printer for about a month. Works well. Not super fast printing, but VG quality. Used mostly for BW, but some color printing was done. Scanned from printer to computer worked well.

We’ve tried various HP and Epson “home” printers over the years, all of which were inadequate, broke easily (or so it seemed) and had very expensive ink resupply. So, we didn’t want to spend a ton of $$$ but we do run a small home business and do need better than “home” quality equipment. We paid a little more for the Brother up front, but it has blown all of these completely out of the water with speed, efficiency, ease of use and paper capacity. Hightly recommended!

Everything works fine on the printer except when I leave the fax line is plugged in telephone number voicemail seem to be interrupted by the noise of the fax machine so I’m not sure how to correct that connection problem. I don’t know if others are having that same problem or not but when I plug in the phone to the printer I am receiving voicemails on the phone the voicemails are overridden by the noise of the fax machine answering the phone. It’s a problem.

Not only is machine difficult to install, but it is difficult to manage. Every time you stop a print action you get paper jams. Despite every thing I try the machine likes to print on the front and back of the files downloaded from my computor.

Print quality is excellent. However, to get this machine to connect via Apple AirPrint – which worked flawlessly with my old Epson printer – I need to reboot either the printer or the iPad (and often both) every time I use the printer after it has been idle for a few minutes. Unacceptable.

I am very happy with the quality of the print and the machine itself. I am NOT however at all happy with the idea that the manufacturer has put things in place to force people to buy their ink or shut the machine down electronically. Had I known, I wouldn’t have bought this printer. Its the though that bugs me. Once we buy a machine, it is our property to do with as we wish. Not the manufacturer. If I choose to use cheap motor oil, the manufacturer doesn’t stop the car from running!
