With enough ink to print for up to one year included in the box, this MFC-J995DW All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

I’ve had many printers and tried a few that I returned. This is best one of all. Wifi printing works every time. Print quality is good. Price is great considering is has a years worth of ink supplied with it. I’ve had it 2 months and it seems like very low has been used. Easy set up.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. The printer is nicely compact and fits perfect on a shelf under my computer.The setup was user friendly, however I had a bit challenge trying to acces another link to use the Bluetooth option on my smart phone for printing capabilities.I am impressed by the scanning feature, but am disappointed I can only scan an average of 10 pieces at a time. Some of the scan jobs I am required to complete are between 20-25 pages. Also, there`s seems to be quite a few steps just to complete the scan command vs a smart phone initially I don`t feel this product is above average, but functions as other devices i`ve used in the past. I would recommend this device for a home office.

I had an Epson prior–the color was always spot-on, but I repeatedly had mechanical difficulties and finally two of the colors would not work. The color on this Brother is so disappointing. I used all the corrections and am printing it very slow, but the photos are not near true and are dull. Very disappointed. Sorry I bought it.

The printer is excellent, best I’ve ever had, except for two things: 1. It’s using more ink than I expected. Your ad and info on the box said “2 years of ink”. Judging by the volume left will never make that. 2. Copies of pictures are coming out light, not the true color as pictured on the computer screen.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I was afraid that this printer would be big and bulky because of the size of the box, but to my surprise it was perfect! It can sit atop a desk perfectly or have its own space on a side table. Setup was extremely easy- so easy I thought I had skipped a step (or two). I was easily printer in 5 or so minutes. Setting up to print from my phone was also flawless- crystal clear instructions. I thought because of my usual issues of having an apple device and PC that it would take time to make everything compatible, but I printed from my phone and my computer without batting an eye. My general use is printing written documents but I wanted to see other features. I was very impressed with all but the printing of large images, ones that cover an entire page. This could have been because I was using what I had on hand as far as paper goes and it wasn`t the finest quality but the colors were pretty dull. If this is not your primary purpose than I would say it can be overlooked as all the other features far exceed expectations for a printer of this size and price. This printer also has the added features of a usb port and SD card port- very convenient for printing straight from a camera. The scanner works very well and you can scan to drive as well as other “air” ports. Extremely convenient, especially for a very busy working mom. I would highly recommend this all in one printer to anyone who has a home office or would be using a it for personal use. I am very happy with this product, it`s ease of use and its versatility.

The paper handling is not well thought out. You can only have 1 sheet of paper at a time in the rear tray. You cannot have but one type of paper in the main tray at a time, and the capacity is 20 sheets. This is not a good situation if you are in a different room than the printer. Photo printing quality is average at best.

All claimed to be and satisfied with functions. Only reason I only gave a 4 rating was because it doesn’t have duplex function when you use the Automatic Feeder rather than glass. Other challenge when making duplex copies using glass top. Bothersome to have to manually add/change page on glass. Main disappointment: For many page documents thought the automatic Feeder would do duplex – it does not. This was not clear in sales info.

I am happy with the machine except for the fact the lid is not spring loaded and if you are not careful or slips from your hand, it slams down on the glass face. Every machine I had before the cover would go down slowly or you could guide it down.
