With enough ink to print for up to one year included in the box, this MFC-J995DW All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

This printer does an excellent job printing and scanning. It is fast and produces good quality copies. I like the feature that allows you to scan multiple documents at a time. The overall appearance and design make it attractive for home office use. Also it has good accompanying software. Price was right for purchase.

The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that when using the fax the paper feeder sounds like it’s a 100 years old but its made that noise out of the box. It prints nicely, quickly and accurately. It does a routine head cleaning itself and it doesn’t use a lot of ink. We print a lot and we still have 3/4 of the ink.

I have the Hallmark card software on my computer and unable to use the Hallmark card stock in the printer for double sized — it will printer double side on plain paper but not the card stock. Greeting cards are not as effective on paper. For my personal use I’m very disappointed.

I love the features of the Brother J995. It is a great complement to my Brother Lazer Jet. The printing, scanning and copying are all easy. The initial wireless set up did not work requiring me to call their support team. They easily guided me through the install. If the on line instructions were clearer, I could have saved a call and some frustration. I strongly recommend that Brother make instructions and links to downloads clearer.

The machine is still pretty new, but so far so good. Print & copy quality is excellent. We’ve not yet used the scanning function, and we won’t ever use the fax function. Our previous Brother was great, but it finally broke after 4 years. So, we bought this replacement and I expect it to perform just as well.

Everything works as advertised I have not tried wireless printing One negative feature is the touch screen location The ink seems to last forever I have printed, copied, faxed and scanned My last Brother printer lasted 12 years and I was distressed when it stopped working However, this printer is a fine replacement The cost of the ink is very reasonable

Fairly easy to set up but inserting the ink cartridges can be a bit touchy if like me I tried inserting it upside down. Do’oh. Printouts both black and white as well as color are nice. Paper tray a bit flimsy and input tray holds only 150 or so sheets.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. The brother MFC-J995DW is definitely an upgrade from previous home devices that my husband and I have encountered. The printer currently resides in my husbands home office. Below are the pros and cons that my husband and I encountered with the setup and use of the device. Pros:-While the initial setup seemed quite lengthy, the instructions were straight to the point and easy to comprehend.-The touchscreen features make navigating the device and its multiple features and settings quick and simple compared to other devices.-The paper count makes large printing projects less of a hassle and helps eliminate the need for frequent and multiple trips to reload paper. – The ink output and clarity appeared good when printing in both color and black and white.-We were very impressed at how easy it was to immediately connect our various devices to the printer without any hiccups or issues when using the wireless feature. My husband and I rely heavily on wireless capabilities so this was definitely our favorite feature. -The printer is fairly quiet for its size.Cons:-Loading paper seemed to be a tad tedious since you are to load paper within the device. -For some reason, I was unable to access any information online pertaining to the model when trying to conduct additional research on its uses and features. – The device has multiple ink cartridges and while this may not be a major con, you should definitely keep this in mind when the time comes to restock. Overall, this printer is a great addition to our home and we are pleased with how easy the device was to set up and immediately begin use. The only minor improvement that my husband and I would suggest would be the method of loading the paper.
