With enough ink to print for up to one year included in the box, this MFC-J995DW All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

Bought this because it’s got an ink system where I don’t have to replace ink under a year. Love that I can print off various computers and devices, can print double sided. I was also assured I can call Brother anytime about getting support without it costing me anything. I haven’t tried this but I know I may need it to explore other features.

Printer seems very temperamental. It prints fairly well usually– not as dark as I would prefer. But it will scan to PC sometimes and sometimes not. Very frustrating.

Use the printer every day for business. Works very well, elegantly. Because it is wireless only, I worry about the wireless failing with a wire-direct backup option. I am also not really sure how to get help with a live person in the event of a failure.

I replaced a 10 year old HP with the Brother J995. The wireless connection has been much faster and more reliable. The only thing I miss on the HP is the Scanning Software had some brightness and contrast controls. I would highly recommend this printer.

Purchase was for home office, mainly for check printing. Thus far, I’ve only had one instance with checks misfeeding, although I do not simply place the checks in the paper tray. I always filter through check by check and slightly bow each page to prevent misfeeds (life lesson). The only other issue that I have is the difficulty with the by-pass feeder actually printing on the envelope that I feed through. I purchased this unit so that I could print envelopes without needing to reload the main tray. I feed it through, but nothing prints. Maybe one day I will have time to read up and see what the problem is.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I recently purchased the Brother Color Ink-Jet all-in-one printer. It was very easy to set up, the instructions were clear and had pictures to go along with so that it was easier to do. The great thing about this printer is it also comes with ink for a up to a year, so you are ready to go as soon as you set it up. The buttons and display are clear, and easy to use. The quality of print was good, crisp and clean. It took me a little to figure out the wireless setting, but once I did, it is easy to do and makes you able to print from anywhere in your house. I highly recommend this printer and will be using it for a long time.

I have used this for about a month. The copier is not a speed demon nor quiet as a mouse. HOWEVER, it IS fast enough for home use and not loud. It was easy to hook up….except for finding the USB connection under the top lift up cover. The set instructions really ought to indicate where the USB connection is. Duplex printing is working fine.
