THis machine is well designed from human factors point of view: 1- i like the great ink volume and high page count per/cartridge 2 – Connected to my LAN ethernet very easily. 3 – Allows me to reset the ink overflow counters using firmware from control screen. My old Canon was bricked and junked when their counters indicated overflow. 4 – scanner is great in all functionality only 1 Con – Wish the rear paper feed was more than 1 sheet.

Have always owned a Canon printer, but saw this Brother had good reviews and decided to try it. I couldn’t be happier. It prints perfectly. It is quick and quiet. Best of all it prints remotely, so it works well from both my tablet as well as my phone.

If your main goal is printing documents, this printer is an excellent choice. I have had Canon copiers for years and though their photo quality is probably superior, they are not as intuitive to use as the Brother machine and much slower to print. I am exteremly happy with my new Brother printer.

This was not the printer that I had originally wanted. The one that I wanted was not in stock. I was pleasantly surprised though. Great quality printing, easy to print to from all devices and quick, easy setup. No issues.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. When I recieved My All in one Brother MFC-J995DW Printer I wasn`t too optimistic about it being anything better than the previous printers I have used and owned in the Past… Boy I was wrong… I love how the INK lasts up to TWO Years… My Other printer I had to change ink at least 2 times a year = $$$ and lots of it. With working from home most of the time, and having air printing as well is a bonus, being able to print things from tablets, phones, and computers at any room of the house is great as well.Another major benefit is being so compact, space is always valuable in any business or household and having a printer, fax, copier and scanner that is almost 1/2 the size of my last one is awesome! The simple “Out of the Box ready to go” is an understatement.. This thing was simple to install and worth every penny! I am sold on Brothers from here on out! Our family is beyond stoked of the performance of the Brothers MFC-J995dw!!

I like the printing of both sides without having to key it in.

I’m very happy with all the features and printing.

I had the same problem with a previous Brother printer, and was disappointed that this one also goes offline at least a few times each week, requiring me to unplug and restart the printer while holding down the power button for 12 seconds. I feel like The Printer Whisperer. This really shouldn’t be necessary. Features and cost are OK, but sad to say I would not recommend.

So far, so good. Easy to use and so much better than our old printer.
Shannon Huel (verified owner) –
Product was as advertised. No problems setting up and the ink seems to be lasting longer than I expected and definitely longer than cartridges in my HP printer. Some reviews commented that it printed slower than other printers but I think the difference is to small to gripe about. Colors printed good as well I have not tried printing a pic on glossy paper so can’t compare that to my HP

Great printer. I would purchase this product again.

Machine is simple to use and produces quality copies. Ink supply is substantial, cartridges easy to replace when needed. Wireless works well.

I’m really happy with our Brother printer. The setup was simple as can be. Paper, even card stock, feeds in smoothly and the print quality is excellent. Scanning words terrific, as does copying. I haven’t used it for faxing as we don’t have a home phone line.

After reviewing all brands in this category, I went with this model because it serves all of my needs.
Nicklaus Lindgren (verified owner) –
the blank paper feeding should be more convenient and machine should be less noisy and faster.
Orlo Kovacek (verified owner) –
I’ve had very expensive all in ones and they have been painfully slow, not just at printing, but the scanning was brutal! 45 minutes for 15 pages? Insane! I’ve got better things to do with my time. This machine has been a dream so far. Now too see if the ink dries up all the time.

I have had the printer for about 3 months. It works great, it was easy to setup. The printing speed is very good for this price. Has not used much ink, may last a year, great that I am not always replacing cartridges.I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a check and economical printer.

Bought it for home office. Represented as the tank system decreasing the frequency of tank refills. We’ll see. Too soon to tell.

Had an HP printer that was a piece of junk that took minutes to warm up & printed smeared output. When I press print on the Brothers printer, I get my printout in seconds and with good quality! Love it. Never going back to HP.

So my printer died and I wanted something that didn’t eat up ink like the old one. (Printer ink being the most expensive liquid on the planet, literally). So I started looking at some of these printers that came with ink already in them, or ink packages. Then I would read the reviews. All of them had one star-ratings over 20%. Complaints of hours with tech support to connect to wi-fi, to printing problems, to hardware problems, over and over horror stories. Then I saw the one-star ratings on this printer, also high, but which seemed to be more oriented to being bad right out of the box and then easily being replaced. Have had this printer now for three months. Was easy to setup and connect to wifi, around 40 minutes after opening the box. No printing or feed problems whatsoever. It will be a very long time before I need to purchase more ink.
