With enough ink to print for up to one year included in the box, this MFC-J995DW All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

Lots of functionality in a very reasonably priced printer. Cool features like the single envelope printing slot in the back (so I don’t have to take out my paper supply to print an envelope. Never had a Brother before. I had HP, Canon, and Epson. But I believe is the best so far. The App works really well. The hardest thing was loading software on my pc, but got it and it works fine. Printer is really fast compared to the Canon Pixma 870, that thing was slow. I recommend this printer.

I purchased this printer this printer to replace an old Brothers printer and HP Photosmart. I wanted a printer which did not require replacing expensive print cartridges. This Brothers printer met my requirements. It was easy to set up remotely with it’s WiFi functions. After installing some utilities, remote scanning and printing work very nicely. Connecting my Surface Pro to the printer was easy. I have not had the printer long enough to comment on ink life. So far it is working great.

Set-up and functions are simple and intuitive. Have had ZERO jams, questions, problems. 100% problem free so far. We’ve networked 2 computers to it so it can print for the whole house without tons of cabling. Not super speedy, but I have time.

I like this printer more than I did my MFC-J885 printer. This one will print on both sides of the paper with you flipping the page manually. The ink cartridges also seem to last longer and you can put more paper in it.

We purchased this printer for an office environment. While there is nothing technically wrong with this printer it is extremely slow. It also makes sounds like it’s dying while printing. It’s given us a few laughs! Probably great for a home printer but is not suitable for an office environment.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. Overall I am delighted with this unit. I am hopeful that the quality and ink will stand up over time. I did try it out over a week long period just to be sure it wasn`t a one time deal. I would recommend this for someone who needs more than a basic inkjet printer but can`t justify a laser jet.Packaging: the packaging was very easy to open and remove the printer from. This may seem silly but sometimes it`s annoying to get stuff out of all messy Styrofoam and cardboard. The ink cartridges each come in their own individual tear open pouches which I really liked as well.Set up: after putting in the device it turned on and the screen prompted with instructions and images of how to install the ink and get started. This was very helpful and useful. The ink setup did take a few minutes so after putting it in go grab a quick coffee while you`re waiting. Likes: paper tray! This is a great feature, especially if you have children that like to steal all of your printer paper. With the tray, the paper is hidden and they can`t find it or bend it. Ease of use. Convenient ink installation. Multifunctional device.Possible concerns: The LED keypad is very small it may present an issue for some to type or read.Image quality: fantastic, I tried images, documents, copies and scans. I used photos, and intricate items such as birth certificates to test quality. I found all items to be above average in quality and was pleasantly surprised by the print speed. This may be Insignificant to some but when time is short this is important.WiFi was great as I was able to print right from my phone without any additional set up.
