With enough ink to print for up to one year included in the box, this MFC-J995DW All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. The setup of the printer was seamless. It is essentially ready to go right from the box. The quick setup guide answered any questions I had right off the bat without having to dig into the full manual. Once out of the box, all I had to do was take the tape off, plug it in, insert the ink cartridges, and set it up to my devices. I didn`t need any help and was done in less than 15 minutes. I really like the size of this printer. I compared it to a multi-function printer I currently have, and it is so much smaller and definitely more user friendly. Brother fit a lot of options into a fairly compact and powerful machine! I have 2 favorite features on this printer. My first is the ability to print wirelessly from my computer or phone. When working from somewhere other than my desk with my current printer, I have to disrupt the flow of my work to get up and plug in the USB port. Printing from my computer wirelessly worked out perfectly with this Brother printer! The second favorite feature is that it prints duplex pages automatically. I`m very conscious of my carbon footprint and have always tried to print 2 sided when possible. It doesn`t always work out well when you have to do it manually. I usually end up flipping the images or double printing on one side. The printer comes with very large ink cartridges compared to what I`m used to, and the product advertises that the ink should last for 2 years even with a fairly substantial print volume. I`m confident these will last quite awhile. These cartridges honestly provide a great quality print as well. I tried photos, documents, and even thicker paper and was quite impressed with everything I printed out. I think if you have a home office or do a higher volume of printing, you can`t go wrong with this multi-function printer. I can`t say at this point that I would change anything about it, but I will certainly update my review if a suggestion arises.

This was a breeze to install on my IPad, IPhone, and home computer. I just wanted a good basic computer for printing and faxing things from home, nothing fancy required. Just one that actually worked as it was supposed to. This one fits that bill. The touch screen is incredibly sensitive and easy to use. I went through all the settings to adjust the volumes for various things and the time out settings. All of it was very easy. The only thing to beware of is when you put the C.D. into your computer, pay attention while going through the installation process so that you do not download a bunch of unnecessary apps to your computer, like auto ink refill shipments, email stuff, etc. when you get to that part you can skip it for the installation process. I am hoping the ink tanks last longer that ink cartridges I used to have to buy constantly.

I have always used an Hp printer some were good some not so , I knew I wanted a printer more dependable but didn’t wont to invest big for my small business so I took a chance with brother, with it’s easy of operation I will never use any other printer set-up was a breeze now when I need to print I just click and it’s done no wait no hassle just a great print job , fax , or scan and can connect all my devices I only need one printer and the ink last a very long time with Hp I was buying ink cartridges every month for one or other printer Brother makes a great printer you can’t go wrong with brother

I’ve only had the printer for a month but so far so good. I have done more scanning than printing and the scanner works good except on some color photos. I raised the quality to 1200 and that worked but the time to scan a 4×6 photo was horrible. So, if you have a lot of photos to scan, buy a scanner made to do that, not an all in one.

I wanted a printer/scanner/copier combo that was simple to use and which worked every time, and this is it. It is compact and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It is easy to use with minimal instruction. I love the cartridge-free printing. Right out of the box, it comes with enough ink to print more than 1,000 pages. I’ve used it to print regular 8.5″x11″ and I’ve used it for envelopes. It works great no matter what I’m printing. I’m so happy I bought this printer/copier/scanner machine.
