With enough ink to print for up to one year included in the box, this MFC-J995DW All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

I came from a never ending long line of HP Printers. They all were noisy, gyrated in self-test mode frequently and consumed LARGE quantities of Expensive Ink! I’d always heard about Brother Printers & my wife had one for her small business. Now, when I select PRINT from my desktop, laptop or iPhone guess what happens? IT Prints! Right away, without waiting (queuing), grinding through print-head self-tests or stopping due to Ink Supply Low!

Used primarily to scan and copy and has excellent performance. I especially like the document feeder, and haven’t tried feeding from the back. I have been unsuccessful in transmitting a fax. The hook up and proceedures in the reference guide are not easy to understand. I have the copier attached to my modem via the usb port which is hooked up to the telephone and computer. From what I understand, I probably need a direct connection from the copier to a phone line in order have the fax function.

I opened the box, read the instructions, followed the instructions, completed the set-up and started printing. It worked like a charm! What else is there to say? To be honest, there are more functions on this machine than I will ever need…….but you might!

It performs very well and it was relatively easy to set up following directions. I didn’t give it 5 stars because when it is printing, it is very loud and sounds like it could use some lubrication. It has beautiful color and paper doesn’t got jammed, like my old printer.

Perfect for my home office. My singly gripe is I wish I didn’t have to pull open paper tray all the way out to flip it over if I want to print on the other side of a page) separate computer files where double sided printing isn’t an option.) This is not a small printer but it is just the right size to sit on a small table/nightstand in my modified home office. And ink efficiency is great!

Print quality is ok but colors are dull and as Ex red is not real red. All colors are dull. I have always had HP printers. Great colors. I will only keep this Printers until I find another one. Will not buy another Brother Printer

I like the choice I have when printing pictures to use regular, best or super best (different words). Of course on pictures with a lot of details I want the very best print I can get, and this is working well.
