With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

I had never owned a Brother printer and decided to try one.Overall I have been very pleased with this printer. It is easy to use, relatively quiet, holds plenty of print paper, and prints very clearly. I have had no issues with this printer. If I could make a recommendation it would be to include some type of cover over the Fax platform to keep dust out, and to be able to print on card stock paper. I have tried to use card stock and it does not feed correctly.

After a disaster with a competitor’s printer, this printer does everything I wanted: print and scan (double sided) with a Wifi connection. The long lasting ink cartridges was a big selling point, as I don’t like being wasteful with plastic cartridges that need replacing every two seconds. The printer was easy to set up. The only con so far, has been printing photos – not the best result, but it could have been other factors such as the paper. It costs more than other all-in-one home printers, but two months down the road, I’m very happy with my choice.

My very FAVORITE : MFC845CW My Lazer HL-3170CDW is good, still and used daily My NEW one MFC-J995DW is very good….only the FAX is difficult because the numbers are so small (Nothing like the MFC845CW!) If you ever do another like this one I want to know!

In general, I love the printer. I learned of it from an article in either the WSJ, or the Wash. Post. Everything has been working as described, but, there have been paper jams for no reason and the notice of the jam from the machine is not very clear to me.
