With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

This printer has some great features: it doesn’t gobble ink, it’s fast, it prints remotely in a speedy manner, it faxes, it scans to a computer with several format options. The downside is the paper tray. The flap to keep printed paper from falling on the floor is awkward. The entire tray must be pulled out to load paper and it feels flimsy. Even with the cheap feel of the paper tray and printer overall, I’d buy it again because of the ink features.

This J995DW is the first Brother copier we have owned and will not be the last. I bought it specifically for the tank ink supply, in order to save on ink costs, but beyond that it is definitely a GREAT all in one printer.

I’ve never had a printer other than a Brother MFC. They have always been dependable, weren’t over priced and Ink was never that expensive. The Brother MFC Printer I had before this lasted 15 years and would still be in use today if one of the inkjets hadn’t clogged up and I couldn’t get it cleaned out. These are dependable printers and I’ll never have another brand. My only issue with this one is that the FAX won’t work apparently without a landline.

I’ve only had the all in one Brother MFC a few weeks and am a casual user so I can’t really give more than a superficial review. So far I have printed, copied, and scanned and it has performed well. The only complaint I have is an annoying pop up notification every morning when I turn on my computer telling me that the printer can’t be found (or something like that). I know it can’t be found, it isn’t turned on. But that’s just a minor irritation.
