With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

The printer is excellent, best I’ve ever had, except for two things: 1. It’s using more ink than I expected. Your ad and info on the box said “2 years of ink”. Judging by the volume left will never make that. 2. Copies of pictures are coming out light, not the true color as pictured on the computer screen.

Our last printer had a clumsy and very cheap ink cartridge loading compartment which eventually failed which lead to the need for a new printer. Found the Brother MFC-J995DW which seemed perfect for our home office needs. It had good reviews and the price was reasonable. I like the ink cartridge system which last for a year and they are very easy to change and install. The set is very simple and the loading of the software was straight forward and worked right the first time. The printer linked to our home Wi-Fi router again right the first time. My laptop and our other desktop are both connected to the Brother printer. Print quality is very good. Didn’t print any photos yet but I expect them to be fine. I feel this was a good buy for us and our home office needs. No complaints thus far.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I am impressed with this Brother MFC-J995DW XL Printer. It boasts great features with consuming little space. I set this up in my craft/sewing room so I could print out my sewing patterns. It takes no time to set up and the instructions are very clear. Having come with 2 years worth of ink in the box makes this a no-brainer decision! I am tired of running out of ink or having quality issues with my previous printer. I am easily able to print directly from my smart phone, which makes it even easier to be ready to accomplish projects when I walk into my room. The best feature is the ability to print from a SD card or flash drive without having to use my laptop. The fax feature is accessible from the touch screen, which is a plus since I don`t have a house line, I don`t have to look at extra buttons that will not be used.The printer cable is hidden under the scanner, which is a great feature! I am not a fan of excess cables/wires hanging out – great use of space!My only complaint is that the non-white color of the machine doesn`t match up with all the white Brother sewing machines I have.

I like this printer more than I did my MFC-J885 printer. This one will print on both sides of the paper with you flipping the page manually. The ink cartridges also seem to last longer and you can put more paper in it.

My MFC-J985DW always gave me trouble with wifi and scanning. In desperation, I decided to try this MFC-J995DW. It works great. The wifi was easy to connect and is consistent. The Brother iPrint & Scan works easily and reliably on my iPhone 11 and my Windows 10 laptop. And the sheet feeder works well, too. And the INK system has been reliable. The 985 died when it would no longer recognize the ink cartridges. I am amazed that two “brothers” with model numbers so close can work so differently!
