With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

The only problem that we have is that the fax answers the phone when we leave the printer on. this is not a great problem because 90% of the callk are junk. Thank you for a quality machine. I hope the print heads and ink are still good afte ra year.

Its very user friendly printer, however, i don’t know why i can not install the printer in my ASUS laptop using the brother installation disc. It was no problem with my HP Laptop.

The paper handling is not well thought out. You can only have 1 sheet of paper at a time in the rear tray. You cannot have but one type of paper in the main tray at a time, and the capacity is 20 sheets. This is not a good situation if you are in a different room than the printer. Photo printing quality is average at best.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. This printer has many great features. The assembly of the printer was not difficult and I had it operating in less than 5 minutes. My favorite feature is the ability to print from mobile devices which is a blessing with two children in school and my wife and I are both educators. I have had other printers in the past that claim that it has wifi capabilities and this printer worked flawlessly in wireless mode. The installation of the ink cartridges was super easy in comparison to other brands I have used in the past. The ink for the year is a great feature as long as I only print less than 150 pages per month. If someone prints more than 150 pages then the ink cartridges will need to be replaced more frequently. Overall I would recommend this printer for home use and would not overlook the brand “Brother” in the future.

I purchased a new printer in December. I installed in January. After a lot of frustration connecting via a USB & Printer cable, I found the channel was too narrow for both. I print cards from the Hallmark Card Studio software. I had my first card with the new printer jam multiple times. I cleared the Jam C and tried over and over. I will not print on both sides. Why, I do not know. Regular paper does ok.
