With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

The blacks are a littoe gray and the colors and a little washed out,I shook the cartridges before inserting and it still seems dull and washed out.

I absolutely love this printer for its responsiveness, printing speed, and ink life. It is perfectly fine as a document scanner (though I wish it did double-sided scanning from the feeder), but it is sub-par for scanning art or photos. If you want a great home office machine for handling paperwork, this machine is excellent. If you’re looking for something that can handle more artistic projects, keep looking.

I bought a Brother Printer mainly for the ink feature. I love the idea of a ink well rather than a cartridge and not having to install ink so often. I did some research and ask friends for their openion. Those I talked to who have used Brother Printers liked them so I decided to try it. I hope the ink lasts as long as advertised but I won’t know that for at least 10 months yet. As far as print quality, I have never had better. It was easy to set up and prints beautifully on both sides of the paper with clarity and no bleed thru. I can print from my I phone, my I pad and my lap top. It is fast and I really love the fact that it is always on and ready to go. I love it and recommend it to anyone looking to replace a computer or buying a new one.

This is our second printer. We loved the first one, but somehow when we dropped it from waist height (while moving), the case broke and the printer became useless as more than a doorstop. The new one is functioning beautifully. If it has the features you need, it’s a wonderful device.
