With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

Overall a very good set of features however it goes offline more than once a day. I have searched the net for several weeks but have not found a solution that works. Requires restart of printer or router each time.

Love this all-in-one printer. Perfect upgrade from my Canon Pixma All-In-One Inkjet that was bigger, louder and constantly dried out. Love the duplex feature and high print quality. My only disappointment is that the manual paper feed tray is on the back side of the printer and a bit of a hassle to use if your printer sits next to the wall.

The easy set-up for wireless network via “Set Up Wizard” was most important for me as I’m no techie. All features perform great and love that I won’t have to replenish ink for a long time. Also like that its has smaller size and weight than many.

so far so good. have only used it for a couple months but haven’t had any issues. the only complaint i have is that it frquently prompts me to update software for the FAX which i don’t use and never will. there should be a way to tailor the install to just the features you want. i did not install the FAX part of this when i first got it but it prompts me to do it now. i don’t have a landline and have no intention of getting one. with scanning and attaching docs to emails, who needs a fax machine anymore?

Do not buy any printer other than a Brother. I have had five of them and one Canon. I gave the Canon away after one month and bought the MFC-j995dw. It is the best printer I have ever owned.

This printer, scanner, copier was extremely easy to get working wirelessly with my Mac computer. It took a little more effort to get it to work with my Windows machine, but I attribute that to the computer and not the Brother printer. I’ve had it for about 6 weeks and the print and scan capabilities are excellent.

I saw this printer reviewed in the Kiplinger Bottomline magazine and it got high ratings. The thing I liked over my Canon printers was the number of prints you can get compared to the regular inkjet printer. I would use a cartridge to print out my tax returns, this printer is supposed to do a thousand pages. Hopeful.

I’ve been well pleased with my Brother printer. It operates smoothly and quietly and promptly. The only problem that I have had is occasionally, when sending something to print, I’ve gotten a message saying “Printer Offline.” Then, I’ve had to go press the Power button to wake it up. I have fiddled around with the printer and network settings and the issue appears to be resolved although, at this time, I’m withholding judgment.
