With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

I am happy with the machine except for the fact the lid is not spring loaded and if you are not careful or slips from your hand, it slams down on the glass face. Every machine I had before the cover would go down slowly or you could guide it down.

We’ve tried various HP and Epson “home” printers over the years, all of which were inadequate, broke easily (or so it seemed) and had very expensive ink resupply. So, we didn’t want to spend a ton of $$$ but we do run a small home business and do need better than “home” quality equipment. We paid a little more for the Brother up front, but it has blown all of these completely out of the water with speed, efficiency, ease of use and paper capacity. Hightly recommended!

The luck I’ve had with home printers is the ink dries out before it runs out. The cartridges cost more than the whole printer. So far, this printer is crystal clear printing and ink on paper looks good.

This printer is a good printer for printing documents but not so good if you want to print photos. Other than that it does a good job. The complete installation could be easier, the wireless connection was not as straightforward as it could have been. Other than that the machine has worked flawlessly, it is quiet and efficient with good quality document prints.
