With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

This printer is slower than I wanted and creates errors of paper jamming which are not there. Constantly have to reinstall the paper tray firmly to start printing again.

This printer was a snap to set up and start printing. Worked with both my wife’s and my iPhones and my HP desktop computer and my wife’s Lenova laptop. All were recognized on my home Wifi and worked with the default printer drivers. The ink tanks were a godsend after dealing with expensive HP inks and the hit or miss generic ink cartridges. Am very pleased .The printer is in the other end of the house and prints what I send to it before my HP all in one powers up and does a self check and most times a printer head clean.

I have had several Brother printers and mostly have been very pleased with them I like this one and the print quality is very good However, it is rather noisy as it starts up to print.. Also I keep getting an error message after the printing saying I have a paper jam which is erroneous but i have to go thru the steps as if i did have one..Annoying I like the 2 sided printing…Overall it is a good printer.

I like the 2 sided printing and the auto feed capability. The Wifi connection allows me to print from any computer in any room of the house. The pictures print sharp and clear with great color. I also like the speed that items get printed. I am glad I replaced my old ink guzzling printer with this Brother.

I replaced a 10 year old HP with the Brother J995. The wireless connection has been much faster and more reliable. The only thing I miss on the HP is the Scanning Software had some brightness and contrast controls. I would highly recommend this printer.
