With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that when using the fax the paper feeder sounds like it’s a 100 years old but its made that noise out of the box. It prints nicely, quickly and accurately. It does a routine head cleaning itself and it doesn’t use a lot of ink. We print a lot and we still have 3/4 of the ink.

When I unboxed the printer there was an ink door open fault that I couldn’t overcome. I had to take the printer into an authorized repair shop. It took that shop over 3 weeks to get the part and fix the fault. Other than that problem the printer is performing well.

The copies are very clean and clear. The copier prints very well on cardstock, which was the main reason I chose this particular copier. I do a lot of craft project printing, and much of it is on different weights of paper. The only issue that I have with this copier is that it is loud when printing. Very loud.

I haven’t had my all-in-one printer long, but what I have used is great. I like the fact I can choose a higher print on my pictures. Scanning is good. I learned how to change from one way to save the scan to another.

I’m being very honest. This is the most expensive printer I’ve ever bought and it’s the worst. It will not print two sided without jamming every time. Our IT guy has tried everything to remedy this. He is the one that told us to buy a Brother because of his experience. He’s never seen one with this many complications. We would like to have a replacement please.
