With enough ink to print for up to two years included in the box, this MFC-J995DWXL All-In-One Inkjet Printer from Brother is ready to satisfy your printing, copying, scanning, and faxing needs for the home or office. With print resolutions up to 6000 x 1200 dpi, documents and graphics are crisp and clear on pages as large as 8.5 x 14″. Copying and scanning is possible via the flatbed CIS scanner. The unit also has faxing capabilities that can store 180 pages in its memory and transfer files at speeds of 14.4 kb/s. Additionally, the printer lets you wirelessly print from a desktop, laptop, smartphone, and tablet via NFC and Wi-Fi.

I’ve had this printer for several months now. Print quality is not going to knock your socks off, but it is relatively quick and, so far, reliable. Paper tray is limited and feels a bit flimsy, but I’ve had no issue with it so far. I do have trouble waking the printer up if it hasn’t been used in a couple of days (it’s connected to my network via WIFI). I have to turn it off and turn it on again before the jobs from my PC will print. Probably a network issue — not a printer issue, but annoying none the less. Scanner seems to do a nice job and it will let you feed multiple pages at a time.

I researched a bunch of printers before deciding on this one. I’m glad I did. The price was reasonable and had all the functions I wanted. It prints, copies, scans, USB functionality, Ethernet ready and even WiFi which I wasn’t planning on using because an old Wi-Fi printer I had was so unreliable that I said never again. Boy was I wrong. I tried it out and to my surprise it works great. As soon as I hit print on my iPhone or Mac, it has already started printing with no issues. Also prints great and I like the ink features on it.
