Along with these capabilities, the printer features a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for direct mobile printing. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections for wired configurations.

I really do like the MFC-L2710DW printer, but it was somewhat difficult for this 85 year old Grandma to get it set up. I finally did manage after fooling around with it for about 3 days. Just remember when you are developing machines we are all not 35 years young so keep that in mind when you are producing the directions.

I have had this printer for over a month and use it daily at the office. It was quick and easy to set up. Completely wireless. Its a laser printer so the print quality is just fine. Love the wireless scanning ability. You can scan muliple pages as a single file or separate files directly to your computer and can even select the folder they are scanned into.

Scanning needed Tech support to set up but they were great. Brother must be counting pages for the toner cartridge as it states toner low and won’t print any longer. However, resetting it allowed it to keep printing. The cartridge shouldn’t need to be changed until print quality has degraded.

Let’s start with what’s good about this machine. It’s easy to setup to a wireless network, and easy to add machines to it once set up. Print quality is crsip and solid; toner efficiency is very good, and it operates quietly. Duplex printing works great and there aren’t the driver problems that bedeviled me with HP machines – a main reason I went to Brother. The paper cassette seems lightly built – indeed, the whole printer seems light – but I’m not moving it around so that should be okay. Downside? Cardstock and mailing labels and this printer do NOT get along. Alignment is always an issue. I only print those things a few times a year, so this isn’t a dealbreaker – I still like the printer. I just wish it could do those things.
