Along with these capabilities, the printer features a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for direct mobile printing. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections for wired configurations.

If all you need to do is print with in black, then this printer is a great choice. This printter starts up quickly, prints extremely fast, is easy to setup and use, prints easily from the available app, and is reasonably priced. This is what I have been looking for in a printer and I couldn’t be happier. No.more ink.carttidges,or the inability to print in black when a color cartridge is low. Thank you Brothers.

Installation was a bear and using the printer continues to present challenges. Manual was less than helpful in identifying and resolving issues. Now that the printer is working it still continually fails to communicate with the pc and goes offline regularly, having then to constantly trouble-shoot to enable printing.

So glad I listened to the reviews on this printer. I’ve had it for about 8 months and it is a replacement for an inkjet color printer I had from a different manufacturer. Getting back to black and white copies made sense financially and this particular printed does not disappoint. Scanning documents that can be used in email or uploaded to a computer, 2 sided copies, everyday printing and set up was a breeze. I don’t think you can go wrong if you’re thinking about this printer. Obviously I’m very happy with it.

I already had a laser printer and an ink jet but needed a good scanner to be able to work from home. I have had to do a lot of scanning over the past 11 months to complete projects and this printer/scanner has been a champ! I put a document of 40 or 50 pages in and it scans it without problems. There are a lot of settings for the resolution of the scan; I have been able to use a 300 x 300 which met with approval of my boss and work team members. Great addition to my home office.

It is a very simple black and white printer although when printing a picture it will still show colors well considering it has only black ink and the ink lasts a long time and doesn’t get stuck and dry with long periods of inactivity! It truly is a perfect fit!

Nice Printer, but a little complicated to use. Once I read the directions, It was fine. Should have been more easily to figure out. Was thrilled that it worked with wifI but IT USES Alot of Wifi band width.

The machine seems to perform as you would expect from a Brother product with clear copies, scans and crisp prints. However, I dislike that the manufacturer decided to put a chip on the TN-760 toner for this model to discourage the use of non OEM products. For me, a major selling point of Brother products of the past was that they worked well with cheap secondary market toner products; the addition of this chip increases the cost of those non OEM products.

We’ve had it about 2 months and don’t do tons of printing, but so far, we really love it! It was also very easy to set up.

Computer interface very intuitive. Setup was very straight forward. Print quality is very good. Scan features also very good. Only problem ( Window 10 issue ? ) is that printer drops off network and needs to be re-booted in order to reconnect.
