Along with these capabilities, the printer features a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for direct mobile printing. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections for wired configurations.

Overall I’m satisfied with this printer. However, it does an awful job printing envelopes. It gets jammed and I have open the printer and check for the “jam”- there is none, redo the envelope and then 9 times out of 10 it prints the address crooked and the envelope itself gets wrinkled on the corners which shifts the entire envelope off centered. Sometimes it is unusable and I have to toss it. Not sure why it’s doing that.

So far I am very happy with this printer. We decided to forego color printing and get the Brother black and white laser printer. Installation went smoothly. It scans in color and copies in B & W. Replacing the toner is very easy. The interface to scanning and printing is slightly clunky compared to my HP Office Jet, but I just need more experience with it. I’m trying to figure out how to adjust print darkness from my print window. I’m glad I bought it and would do it again based on my experience with it so far, about a month.

Our multiprinter is working wonderfully, with the exception of the scanning function which works, but involves having to connect a computer with the printer. I wish that function were wifi. It could be because we use Macbooks instead of PCs. Otherwise, I love it.
