Along with these capabilities, the printer features a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for direct mobile printing. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections for wired configurations.

The auto doc feeder has a tendency to misalign periodically. The result renders a skewed image on pdf scanned files used for presentation or fowarding to legal clients. I spend a great deal of time reviewing scanned docs for correctness and quite often end up trashing the work to start over again.

Printer installed in Windows 10 with no problems. When I need to print, it warms up and spits out the fine laser printer excellence and goes back to standby. I no longer have the dried out inkjet-won’t print monochrome when one color is out blues. Excellent home laser printer.

I have been a satisfied user of Brother laser printers for awhile. This printer is very good if all you are doing is printing full sized documents, scanning and copying. If you need envelops, practice your handwriting. This is the second printer (this model) where it will rarely print straight. And when it does, this feature seems designed for not being used much, i.e. only one envelop at a time can be placed in the envelop feeder.

I don’t print many color documents, so I chose this to fill my needs. It is fast, clear, and easy to operate! I really enjoy the fact that it is wireless, because I can print from multiple devices from anywhere in my home. The toner cartridge will last much longer and is more cost-effective than my old inkjet cartridges. I will probably replace my other printer at my summer residence with a color equivalent of the monochrome device I have purchased for my winter residence. I spend 6 months at each and the inkjet versions have a tendency to dry out while away, despite anything I have been told to do to prolong their life while not in use. I have used almost every known printer brand around and found the Brother products are far more versatile and superior to all of the similar priced models out there! Thanks for a great product!
