This configuration will capture fine detail in your originals and allow the creation of sharp copies with ease. Along with these capabilities, the printer features a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for direct mobile printing. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections for wired configurations.

Use for printing and scanning and even sometimes fax (even in this day and age). Does everything flawlessly. Clean and fast print, easy scanning. I’m sure I don’t use all of the features, but it does what I need. Caught a sale price at office supply store.

I like the laser printer which seems well- built. Switching to laser from ink jet has made sense for my operations. I have two concerns, however. I am presently in the manufacturer’s monthly plan to provide cartridges for a fee at different levels. This program has been expensive and does not appear cost effective. Also, when the printer receives instructions and changes function, there appears to be a power spike in my electrical system.

Love this product, however, I hate it when our internet connection is interrupted and we have to go through the whole process of connecting the printer to the wi-fi again. I would suggest a feature that will continually try to reconnect on its own to re-establish the connection (like the cellphone does)

The machine was easy to set up and works well. However, the Deep Sleep mode is problematic, as it is far from obvious on how to wake it up. I think I found a solution on the Brother support site: https://help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/152780?R3ModelID=MFCL2710DW. Ill update this review once I have more experience.

This machine does all I need, EXCEPT, it has stopped receiving faxes from my home HP fax machine. I read how to possibly fix this problem. But, that is a lot of info. I am challenged. It accepted faxed for quite awhile and then suddenly stopped. CRAZY, right?

Works as expected but have had it in use for just to months. Instructions came with the unit for use of functions are totally inadequate. Seems to me that should be an essential part of the package.

This is my second brother laser printer. The first one lasted about 15 years (I am not a heavy user). I have exercised the scan and print functions on this printer a few times. As other reviewers pointed out getting a straight scan is a little bit of a challenge, however you do get the. cans very easily. You can choose to scan directly to your PC or email it. You can scan to jpeg or scan to pdf. It is pretty easy. I have been able to print from my smartphone, 2 windows PC, macbook pro without a direct ethernet cable. The prints are fast and good looking. I have done about 20 or 30 prints so far in the last couple of months that I bought it. As I said awesome brother printer as usual. I would recommend it.
