This configuration will capture fine detail in your originals and allow the creation of sharp copies with ease. Along with these capabilities, the printer features a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for direct mobile printing. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections for wired configurations.

Scans and prints quickly. It will trip sensitive circuit breakers, though. Suggest Brother put an inductor in the rectifier network to subdue electrical surges. Good diagnostic information comes through to computer even when linked by internet.

It’s an overall good multifunction printer. No issues with, have had it for a year now. The software tends to mess up if you change routers (i.e. change your home network ips entirely), it basically can’t find your pc/devices anymore for remote scanning. I hadn’t looked into trying to rectify it though since the printer is arms length away and I would just scan using a pc software rather than remote scanning.

The printer was quite easy to setup, including getting it setup to print from my phone. I have determined that the printer is very dependable and anyone can operate and navigate its abilities quite easily. The only thing I wish is that it had a higher capacity toner cartridge.

My husband is now working from home full time and we had a mfc from brother that was inkjet but it could not keep up with the volume of printing he needed and is slower on printing and copying. So we got a brother laser printer which he has been really happy with. Those two are going strong but I decided he needed a reliable back up and faster copier so I bought this brother mfc laser and it has been great. Easy to set up. Faster copying- a lot faster! Great printing. I have not set the fax up as it is set up on my inkjet mfc and is rarely used. This unit has the same toner and drum as his other laser printer so I don’t have to stock multiple types. He can print two large jobs at once by sending them to the separate units. He does a monumental amount of printing. So far no issues with jams, able to navigate menus, no glitches, easy to change toner…. I am obviously happy with brother products and this trio should meet our needs for a long time. Looks like he will be wfh until he retires and I fully expect these units to make it that long and well beyond.

I really love being able to print on both side and not having to take the paper out to turn it over. I also use it to fax with has been a blessing. The ink lasts for a very long time even after it says it is low, I was able to get more than 50 more copies of things I needed. Overall it works just as wonderful as my last Brother Printer.
