Along with these capabilities, the printer features a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for direct mobile printing. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections for wired configurations.

Reasonable price for what you get. Set up is not that hard. Most difficullt thing is to keep the setting in copy mode instead of defaulting to fax. Faxing is easy using document feeder, nice feature.

We recently upgraded to the MFC L27 in our office. We had no issues to begin with but now after a month we have had numerous issues. First, the wifi print from computers 10 feet away are showing printer “offline” almost 50% of the time we try and print. Running network diagnosis tool seems to resolve the issue temporarily. I have even gone as far as uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the drivers via the website. Second, the scan function is hit or miss via USB cord to a computer. Sometimes it wont scan at all. I will have to load up the cpu program to scan which can be rather inconvenient. I should just be able to use the printer button… Third, numerous paper jams in the back, middle, and tray. There was a day where it happened every other print. overall, does the job but does not do it well. Would not recommend.

We have used Brother printers almost exclusively in our business and have learned that they will last almost forever. The toner cartridges are easy to install and replace and the drums are durable. We rarely, if ever, have any paper jams and we have never had it serviced. This printer is definitely worth every penny since it has all the features that you need. It is wireless so you do not have to deal with cables and you can use the Brother iPrint-and-Scan app on your mobile devices.

The manual feed gets jammed Frequently. It only allows one sheet at a time. A lower brother model of that I was replacing did multiples and is much better
