Does everything I need it to do and it is much less expensive to run than my Canon Photo Printer and my HP All In One Printer. A good basic workhorse for home or the office where you don’t need color.

the employees at brother are great. the product however needs some correcting. there is no rear document feed which means that i have to one by one print lazer checks or rearrange the sequence and put them in the tray. both methods make the checks crooked. i have owned about 4 different printers in my 35 year business and i have never had to do this. additionally when the printer is idle it takes about 10 seconds to turn on. you guessed it. if it takes me more than 60 seconds to hand feed each check before it shuts off and i have to wait for it to turn back on and i have if i turn the sleep mode on longer then i get the priviledge of listening to a veruy loud fan constantly blow. NO.. the fan has plenty of ventilation, no i am not printing 100 copies and it needs to cool down. i have printed 10 to 15 sheets on all my old printer type models i won’t mention here and never had a cool down problem . i have a new computer, a new ethernet cable ( which you do need to routiney repolace by the way, i learned that the hard way) new hardware, new software, new firmware. why did i buy the brother? because the other companies were temporarily out of stock. seriously though even there higher end models will still have the same features because not one person has been able to tell me this is just a lower end model issue. look for ppm and first page out when idle and cpu. i hope brother can fix these issue.

Just started using this in the office. Took a bit of set up to get wi-fi scanning to my computer, but other than that, everything was good to set up on the network. Printing is very very fast. (Have not used the fax capabilities)

This printer does what I need it to do. I use it for printing and copying only, I do not fax, and the quality of the prints are great.

Three stars because the features can not be navigated intuitively. And then it’s a hassle to get information because these things no longer come with full manuals, you have to go on-line. Then there is a general manual to download that serves a bunch of similar models, so some of the info doesn’t apply. The overall impression is that these companies have gotten so big that they almost aren’t useful. Something else: There are 4 delicate pins inside where the cartridge barrel is inserted and they “read” the toner cartridge. I busted one of the pins from loading the cartridge incorrectly and the machine had to be replaced. Brother did send me a refurbished machine, free of charge.

My fifteen year old laser printer finally died, and I replaced it with this printer. Drivers and WiFi were incredibly easy to set up on my Mac, and the printer works flawlessly. I can’t ask for anything more.

I run linux and Windows (dual-boot), and this Brother printer works seamlessly on both platforms. I love that it is wireless and I can print to it from just about any device in my house. I’ve had one paper jam so far, and the screen told me exactly how to remove it, so that was also helpful. This is my first Brother printer, but in my opinion, it is head and shoulders above the competition. I’ve had no problems with the paper tray (which was always an issue with my HP printers). It’s always connected to the internet, even if the internet goes down for a while – the printer connects again automatically as soon as it’s available again. Printer makes it very easy for me to print my daughter’s school work (now that we’re remote some of the time). Also makes it simple to print just about anything else I’ve tried. I’d highly recommend this printer.

I like the the all in one features of this unit, especially the laser printer / copier and scanner. We have a lot of material that needs to be scanned and this is working nicely.

I like that the printer is on Wifi but it still has some problems. I work on 2 different computers and the printer is connected to both of them via Wifi. Once in a while I have to reboot the computer to allow the printer to work. My wifi is right next to my computers so there shouldn’t be any problems. Also the scan has a button but it doesnt do its function unless you activate it thru the computer. Why add that function if you can’t use it from the unit.

Needed to have a multifunction printer, scanner, copier for work at home. The Brother MFC-L2710DW has performed well, and was relatively easy to set up.

I have been a user of Brother Laser Printers for over 10 years because of their dependability and quality of printing. This printer is a great example of that.
