Along with these capabilities, the printer features a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for direct mobile printing. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections for wired configurations.

Looked for a lower priced MFC to fill my home office needs. Didn’t want to spend too much. This model had way more than I planned on and is easy to operate. Scanning software is easy to use. Two-sided copy function is cumbersome but works well. Only drawbacks I have found are econo mode is quirky and immediately goes too light; the toner carton is small and needs replaced sooner than the printer it replaced. Still a workhorse and I would purchase the same MFC again.

When it works, it works well. But it goes into ‘sleep mode’ and doesn’t come out automatically. It takes so much power to come on that it takes down my battery backup.

I wanted an affordable reliable, pretty simple, black and white printer that would also scan and copy. This is pretty much it. Two things would make it better. First, an honest-to-goodness paper manual. It is extremely annoying to have to look up things in the on-line version. With a paper one, I can underline text and dog-ear pages. The other day I felt I had to go to You Tube to immediately find out how to make my first toner change! And speaking of toner, I bought the printer in May, 2020 and just had to change out the toner cartridge. Shouldn’t the cartridge last longer (I had a high capacity one)?

I cant figure how to double side print from the buttons on the outside panel. Bought extra toner cartridge, there ‘s no return ship label. Still has to get it online. Inconvenient.

Printing is great, as expected from a laser printer. Fax has worked flawlessly. Copying function, copies came out vey light in default mode. Setup and connecting to my WiFi network was quite easy.

I purchased this for a friend of mine and I have a similar one that I am using it since 2013 and today is 05/2021 still rocking. I have 3 school kids they print home works and project constantly I print IT SOP and manuals. I kill 2-3 toners per year each one prints 2600 pages min. This product works from any device you have in the house, android, mac, iphones, Linux, Win and I have them all, remote scanning is the king
