Great so far. Time will tell. I’ve bought a lot of printers over the years. They didn’t last. My last printer was a brothers. It lasted the longest.

I chose this printer after doing about 4 months of research. I like that this printer has all the features I was looking for. The ink was very reasonable in price. I also, like the fact that I only have to purchase the ink that I need. Instead of all colors. That was a problem I had with my old brothers printer. I have been able to print from my phone, and tablet. Setting up the printer wirelessly was simple and easy. The only con that I have for this printer, resulting in the 4 rating is that: I was looking for a printer that double side prints from both online and physically at the top. This printer only prints 2 sided from online easily. But to copy 2 sided, I have to scan 1 side, take out the page and scan the other side for it to print double sided. When doing my research, I could have sworn I saw that this printer could both, print online and copy 2 sided easily. That’s my only problem with this printer. That’s too much work.

it costs a little more than your lower cost printers, but it is well worth the diference.

Needed new printer. Looked at several Name Brands. Liked the Brother laser at work. Wanted a inkjet color. Checked out the features. This one scans and prints 2 sided which takes less movement of paper to make it happen (pick up first side scan, turn over, scan second side). Saves paper when side 2 is printed on back. Had to wait 2 months for it to become available again, but it was worth it.

The printer was easy to set up. All the features I have used so far have worked well. The printer automatically connected to my MacBook and my WiFi.

So how many of these printers have you gone through over the last 10 years? Ive had several inkjet and 3-in-one printers over time, and all of them failed due to a variety of reasons. There were 2 models from HP, one from Canon, and the last one from Epson. Sure, the printers are inexpensive to purchase, but not so to keep them in ink during their lifespan (think replacement razor blades). If you believe in reuse/reduce/recycle, then these printers are a disaster. Enter this printer from Brother. The manufacturer suggests that youll get more page output than the competition, but that remains to be tested. I can attest to a quick and easy set-up process, from loading ink cartridges to installing the helpful software. Print speed is faster than the Epson I took down (due to clogged print heads), whether printing B&W only or using all color inks. The LCD screen is very useful but small and more difficult to use (I have larger fingers). The printer has only a single paper tray, so if you often use a second size paper, that will become tedious after a while. I havent used the rear feeder yet, but that looks fairly conventional. Text and color quality are very good but hey, this is a new printer. The printer instructions say that you can print from wireless sources like Apple, etc., but again I havent played with that yet. The printer has been in daily use for just one week. So far, so good.

I have been using Brother printers for years so when it was time for a new one I went with Brother again. It took awhile to find a model that had the features that I wanted because many models were not available, I assume due to Covid. I am very happy with the printer but wish it could do 2-sided scanning.

I love my new mfc-j5330dw Brother printer. Ink lasts a long time. scans fast and the ocr is pretty accurate. The best thing it holds a 1/2 ream of paper so you don’t have to refill as often.

Installation was effortless. I installed the ink cartridges and connected to my wifi. The printer immediately informed that a firmware update needed to be made and then installed it with no problems. Installation of the software required that I select the printer on the network and then everything else was installed without no more user interaction. I installed it on 3 computers. It prints very fast, the print is sharp, the ink dries quicker than my previous printers, and photos look great. I’ve printed a lot of pages in the month that I have had the printer and I’m still on the starter cartridges. I wish that it had a photo tray, but that is a minor complaint.

Set up was similar to the HP printers that I have previously owned, I purchased the Brother printer because the ratings were better and it appears to have better ink usage.

We had a string of bad printers until this one. Now I feel secure knowing my kid can get her project done without worries. Prints beautiful photos too.

prints and scans faster than any other all in one I have ever owned.

Great look, great features, but sometimes functions get a little quirky, but will end up working, and don’t like that if one ink runs out the print function won’t just resume printing with the colors that are available.

the ink’s cost does not kill you when you need it – to answer would you recommend this i need to order one for my wife desk
Raheem Blick (verified owner) –
Only reason it didnt get 5 stars is because occasionally it disconnects itself from my wi-fi and I have a hard time printing from my phone.
Donald Bergstrom (verified owner) –
I would give it 5 stars but for the size, but I think It’s too big

No problems for two year. It can get picky about seating the ink carts just right. Control Center works great on my Mac.

I have spent too many hours trying to get the printer to be recognized and accept a print job.
