Keep your home and office organized with this PT-D210 Portable Label Maker from Brother. Featuring standalone operation, this unit will allow users to easily create a variety of different labels quickly and efficiently. One-touch keys allow for fast formatting and it can work with the TZe tape family in sizes up to 0.47″ x 26.2′. Printing is quick as well with a max speed of 0.8″ per second and 27 templates will help you get started typing and printing in no time.
The PT-D210 offers a 1-line, 15-character LCD for previewing labels and a QWERTY keyboard for typing. It allows for labels up to 2 lines and it has a 30 label memory for reprinting. Also, it uses thermal print technology and a manual cutter. Power is provided by either 6 x AAA batteries or an optional AC adapter.

I’m reasonably satisfied with this label maker. It has a hilariously large array of options including special symbols, frames, and several font choices. But it’s not 5 stars for me because it goes through tape pretty fast, and setting the (often too-large) margins can be finicky. The starter tape is also particularly short – if you plan on getting this, get extra tape first.

I did have a little trouble following the instructions, so called Brother support and the representative was so very helpful. He walked me thru exactly what I was trying to achieve and now my labels look great! I love this printer!!

I used to use a Brother P-touch similar to this one on my job before retiring and found it very useful for all sorts of labeling tasks. I strongly suggest getting either some rechargeable batteries or an AC adaptor (didn’t see an adaptor on the B&H website) as these things tend to eat batteries.

Would rate 5 stars except for the only drawback of this label maker. That is the inability to shorten the blank lead and tail pieces by any means other than scissors!
