The Brother P-touch is a fine easy to use device the only problem I have is that the tape is expensive.

I love all the options that are available for labeling. There are so many fonts and I have bought several different colored tapes to try out. I have even bought some ribbon but I am saving it for a special occasion like my granddaughter’s birthday!

I bought this label maker mainly for my husband. We have another one, but it was very hard to remove the paper backing. This one is so easy & he loves it!!!

LCD screen is not backlit and is difficult to read. There is an adjustment but it gives little or no contrast. My very old Brother label maker is much easier to read. This one’s going back.

For 20+ years I have had the old basic brother P-touch machine. Thousands of labels for me, my kids, my work – and it finally conked out.. Not being able to live without one (I label everything) I ordered this “modern” one. I must say there was a learning curve – but soon I found it is 1000 times more powerful than the old one. This new machine is perfectly designed: they thought of everything here..

I’ve been attempting to learning how to produce what I had considered to be just some fairly simple labels I was wanting to use with my current collection of some world and US Mint produced coin collection files and albums. Unfortunately this task hasn’t been achieved to date in spite of repeated efforts and various attempts of designs.

Easy to use. Wish the instructions for inserting the labels were inside the machine. Took a little while to figure out installing the replacements, as I took them out of the packaging so they would fit in the case.

I use this to personal ribbon rails that I put into my custom garters. It had a little bit of a learning curve, but once figured out, easy to use. Great for small crafting and at a price you can’t beat!

If you want simple and convenient labels up to 1/2″ and you’re not printing custom graphics or barcodes, then this is the label maker for you! I’ve used this model extensively and haven’t had a single problem. Labels print consistently, batteries last a long time, and the labels are VERY economical! I’ve had other models of Brother label makers and I still reach for this one when making simpler labels or when I’m in a rush.
