Keep your home and office organized with this PT-D210 Portable Label Maker from Brother. Featuring standalone operation, this unit will allow users to easily create a variety of different labels quickly and efficiently. One-touch keys allow for fast formatting and it can work with the TZe tape family in sizes up to 0.47″ x 26.2′. Printing is quick as well with a max speed of 0.8″ per second and 27 templates will help you get started typing and printing in no time.
The PT-D210 offers a 1-line, 15-character LCD for previewing labels and a QWERTY keyboard for typing. It allows for labels up to 2 lines and it has a 30 label memory for reprinting. Also, it uses thermal print technology and a manual cutter. Power is provided by either 6 x AAA batteries or an optional AC adapter.

I have a quite old Brother P-Touch label maker. It has been great and still is. Used for years and still do. Thought I’d “upgrade” to this model so I could use laminated tapes, and have more features. Now I’m a tech savvy guy, but I am very disappointed. So loaded with features but very complicated to get settings correct. Only three text sizes. Brightness of display is weak (even on bright mode). Lots and lots of blank wasted tape. Still haven’t figured out how to clear previous label with one click, like I always have on the old one. Instead I have to backspace one letter at a time. When I do say “clear” it clears all the settings I labored to get right. When I say print it always asks “How Many”? I am very frustrated by this label maker. Only use it when I MUST have laminate tape.

I love Brother label makers, especially the one with the keyboard. It is so much easier to make labels when you can type the name using the label keyboard. This label maker also prints 2 lines on labels and you can use many different types of labels made by Brother for your needs. It also has an adapter which saves on using batteries. This label maker is compact and I keep it handy right by my computer.

I really like this label printer but the shortcoming is the user manual that does not give clear or adequate instructions. Not always convenient to get instructions by having to access them at the Brother website. Manual should be expanded for more clarity on how to make the labels
