Nice label printer with reasonably good (Mac) software. It prints graphics and text clearly and quickly My only complaint is that it requires TZe label cartridges. Older TZ label cartridges will not fit (even if you get a drill and drill-out the new required hole in the tape cartridge). My previous p-touch took both TZ and TZe. (Don’t step on your label printer if you don’t want it to become your previous printer!) [The e in TZe stands for ecology or economy or something like that. But Brother said the only difference was the packaging (to be greener). Brother did not speak the whole truth.]

Very simple to use and all the different ways to print makes it fun to use, especially like the different size of tape that you can use

This label maker is disappointing in a couple of areas. In the size of your fonts it skips sizes. There is no happy medium for making file labels. My file label end up either being too large due to the length of my titles or too small to read in order to fit the tab. Also, this label maker wastes way too much tape! I was am not happy with this label maker as it does not fit my needs at work but as the company paid for it, I cannot complain or return it and they will not pay for another type or brand. I do like, however, that it will run off of AC adapter or batteries.

Works very well when connected to pc. Would like better stand alone operation.

I have not had a lot of opportunity to use the machine but when I do it is easy to use and produces great labels.

This label machine is really easy to use and intuitive. It did not take a lot of time to figure out how to set up/change font/font sice, etc.

The new machine works very well. No complaints. But the P-Touch software is so outdated and cumbersome. Why can’t someone make a very user-friendly app to create labels using the computer and not the PT-D600 keyboard?

Using the downloaded SW makes this a really useful tool. Especially like the ability to bring the cutting waste to near zero.

I purchased this label maker so that I could label items according to a pre-existing format. I was easily able to match the format and the results are great! Thank you!

Great label printer lots of features, but complicated to use as stand alone, this is my forth Brother Label Printer I have always preferred to create my labels on my computer in P-Touch Editor, however Brother refuses to update the P-Touch Editor software to contain everything the the P-Touch Printer PT-D600 has on it.

This is well worth the money. Actually, it would be well worth a lot more money (Im confused as to how this much technology can be sold so cheaply). The printing is excellent. The labels are much sturdier than the last time I owned a label printer. The software (for Mac) is passable and gets the job done. The ONLY reason I didnt give 5 stars is that pretty much every label I print starts with the printer lopping off a full inch of unprinted label, which is a big waste of label tape after you print a few. I wish the machine was smart enough to retract the tape an inch before it started printing. Instead, the first thing it does is cut off the leader (which was the tail of the previous printing), then prints the label. After several labels printed, you end up really getting a feel for how much is being wasted. Beyond the waste thing, I think this is an exceptional purchase.

The label printer P6000 works fine. Sometimes the software does not open labels saved on my PC. The program hangs and has to be terminated with Task Manager.

Just installed intercom systems at military recruting stations. They needed signage in different sizes, fonts and I included some graphics. Even the call button labels I imported a logo for each branch of service to include with the name and they turned out great even though they had to be resized quite a bit. It is a good package software and hardware.

I was using a very old P-touch machine and the power button finally gave up, Mind that the age and that it had been moved almost daily and may have even dropped several times! It worked great up till the end..
