I am just learning about all the features and flexibility of the PT-D600. I purchased it for the ability to print wider width labels. I connected it to my computer and was able to download a spreadsheet with information and it made it much easier and faster to print labels. A great purchase overall

This item was procured to assist in the labeling of shelving and equipment and it measured up to expectation.

The only hangup I have is the requirement to hit ok for the number of copies. Pain in the neck.

So far it has worked great. Was a little disappointed in the tape they gave you…too large…have not done the software program yet but hoping it will work well too.

This is a excellent labeler. Hands down this is better than the labeler I had before.

This little unit is so fun to use and easy as well. Much better than others by far! Love the typewriter style of this label maker/printer. Easy to use connected to PC, so very happy with this product!

The printer fell from a work surface at 4 feet and kept working. The only thing I have an issue with is getting a file from my PC to the printer file. The user interface could be better. Other than that it’s a keeper.

Pretty good label maker, however: there needs to be a print queue where you can select and store labels before printing. I print small amounts of several labels and each time I print a set of labels the labeler wastes 1″ of label adding up to as much as 20″ of tape wasted during each print sesson. I feel that you should be able to select several stored labels from the print file and then print them all at one time eliminating wasted material. Am I’m missing something, if so let me know?

* My first unit failed to recognize 0.23″ tapes after about one month. The replacement unit has been working fine for three months * The hardware is dated. The resolution could and should be higher. * I _hate_ wasting ~3/4″ of tape when starting printing, especially since I often print short labels. * The software is dated and disappointing. The UI resembles Windows XP-era design from 15 years ago. It also has obvious bugs.

I would recommend PT-D600 to anyone. At first I thought I was a little expensive for a label maker but once I got it home and started using it and saw what all it could do I changed my mind. Well worth the money. It has a ton of features and the supplies for it are very reasonable. It’s easy to use out of the box and the instructions are easy to understand. I’ve made labels for things I didn’t need to label just to try out some of the neat stuff it does.

We have lots of boxes to label for the movers. Better they should be legible!

The label make is the best ever. It logically holds previous changes until you want to change them. Excellent unit and excellent pricing.

It is exactly what I needed minus one feature- while you can create labels on the computer and store them on the device, you are limited to the fonts on the device rather than on your PC. Other than that it’s been reliable and easy to deal with.

Mine works great and has no flaws in it. The tape feeds as it’s suppose to. The Availability of heavy duty tape makes this machine very useful when labeling drawers in my shop I would recommend this machine the cost and the features make this a win-win situation.

software very difficult to use, Still have not figured out how to use except for one or two basic labels

I bought this labeler because of it’s Mac interface and the reliability of previous Brother products. I immediately downloaded the drivers and set up the application on my MacBook Air (10.10.5). The software appeared to work well, but all of my other apps (Pages, TextEdit, etc.) no longer printed. I deleted the PT-D600 from system preferences and all was well. I guess I will have to install the PT-D600 every time.
