I was wanting a labeler to label bins and other containers in our home. This labeler is just what I needed. It takes different widths of tape, there are many different fonts and you can change the font size, spread the words out, make them narrower, print one line or two and one or more copies. Very versatile and well designed.

This is a versatile, well-made unit useful for a myriad of labeling functions. I keep discovering new uses for the many sizes, styles, etc. of labels. Further, the ability to use either battery or external AC power adds to the versatility.

I purchased this label maker for use in my home office. It has a good breadth of versatility for width, length, ability to print as a stand alone label maker, or in conjunction with a computer. Fairly priced, and robustly built. I would definitely recommend this unit.

I love the lighted background and the pc interface. I have and have had about eight or nine brother devices. I have never been disappointed in any of them. Unless they do something stupid, I will always consider Brother first for any printing needs.

It won’t take my old tapes so i sent it back.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS.

The printer works great by itself, but connecting it to my pc is awful. The software is clearly outdated and it’s extremely difficult to do something as simple as printing multiple labels back to back. Probably the most annoying thing is that my company requires Helvetica font on all labels, and of course this font is included in the printer and not the connectable software.

My only complaint is the software has a Microsoft Office feel on the mac, crashes quite a bit, and you cannot pull labels you made on your label maker to your computer, only the other way around.

I haven’t had the time to work with it, but I love what I know it will do when I sit down with the instructions and study them. I’m nearing 90 years, so I’m sure you can see my dilemma. Sorry. I know this is not what you wanted in a review, but it gives you the truth. I do know I’ll love it.

It’s so easy to get exactly what you want on a. label, especially using the software that. comes with the labeler. And there’s a great selection of special-pupose tapes to choose from.

This is my third Brother label maker and it is, without question, the best label maker you could ever want or own. It does even more things than I knew about when I bought it!

I can’t stand to be without it; so if something happens, I replace it asap. I keep it in my living room, not far from my computer. I don’t use it every day, but often and want it right by me when I need it.

I love that it connects to my computer and is easy to do so and I love that it is just so easy to use, period!

If you download the software for your computer and connect the two it is VERY easy to make your labels. Making labels on the printer directly is a little cumbersome and the instruction manual is tough to work with. But the quality of what you can create is great…
