Using wireless Bluetooth technology, the P-touch CUBE Plus works with three separate apps, which are the Brother iPrint&Label app, the P-touch Design&Print app, and the P-touch Editor software. You’ll have access to a wide selection of home and home office label templates. You can also design your own with a wide variety of symbols and fonts, including the Google and Apple font libraries. The P-touch CUBE Plus uses durable, laminated Brother TZe tape, available in a wide variety of colors and types. It is powered by a built-in lithium-ion battery. The P-touch CUBE Plus is lightweight and portable.

I needed to replace my ancient p-touch so I decided to try the Bluetooth model. I initially connected it to my iPad which worked fine. I was able to print labels easily. I later connected to my iPhone 8 and again it worked fine. There are templates you can use to help design the appropriate labels. But I haven’t used them for all I needed was a basic label. Having a Bluetooth label maker allows you to move from room to room with ease. I haven’t tested the reception distance or batter life but those aren’t issues for me.

I am not sure when they started making wireless printers, but at least a decade ago. Why is Brother not making the cube wireless for the computer? It’s crazy. If your laptop does not have a USB port and you don’t want to buy an adapter, don’t buy this printer.

I bought this for home. If it doesn’t move, it gets a label. OCD, Marie Kondo, The Home Edit …its all at our house and I could not be happier with the P-touch Cube Plus giving me ‘joy’

I love this printer. Right selection of media to choose from and no ink to replenish (Thermal) you can print using the app for your phone or a USB cable to print from your computer. Compact and easy to use.

It works with just a iPhone to run it, which is good. The Bluetooth interface is the worst I have ever used. Every time you turn on the P-touch Cube Plus you have to go to settings Bluetooth and select the PT-P710BT to connect. If that isn’t enough of a pain then you have to select the printer in the App! When the printer times out (10 minutes) you have to go through the process all over again. Every time you print one label at a time the printer wastes about an inch of tape.

This unit works great small compact unit rechargeable battery very nice. Works fine with desktop apps but only via USB, not with BT with p-touch desktop app. Mobile apps no where as capable as desktop app. I prefer to us this unit over my DT-600.

As someone who wasn’t sure how I was going to like printing from my phone rather than typing on a physical keyboard…well… I have to say I can’t believe I waited so long. This little label maker is wonderful! The apps for the phone definitely have a learning curve, but when you get the perfect label and are able to save it, it’s pure joy. The labels come out sharp, the battery life is excellent, it’s quick and quiet, and it fits nicely in a small camera bag. They do make cases it specifically, but I live all the pockets a camera bag offers. I have not had any jams. The machine recognized which tape I have in it and sends that information right to the app. The apps offer many more options for label styles and you can see the label right on your phone before you print. The tape is not cheap but it is durable and has stuck wonderfully to every shelf at work. I work at a car dealership in the parts department and it is a dusty and oily environment. The price of the labels is worth it. This is a great little printer that was worth every penny.
