The Brother QL-800 High-Speed Professional Label Printer allows you to print black and red labels using DK-2251 or cost-effective paper labels for packages, envelopes, file folders, name badges, postage, and more. It can print up to 93 standard address labels per minute, with black text at 300 dpi. An auto cutter allows for printing one or multiple labels at a time, eliminating wasted label sheets.
The "Plug & Label" feature supports quick label printing of basic labels, which does not require software installation for Windows computers. The P-touch Editor software for Windows and Mac lets you customize your labels. You can also print from Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. When using genuine Brother DK drop-in rolls, you do not need ink or toner.

Bought a refurbished one. It’s been nothing but excellent. Fired right up, P-Touch Editor is AMAZINGLY easy to use. I’ve used Photoshop for a decade, and I just import my JPEG, hit “check media”, and it prints right out! It’s easy to load paper, I use it for produce labels so I was happy to see the two color (red/black) is waterproof and extremely durable. I just can’t say enough good things about it. Note: Power chord is only about 4 feet, which isn’t a huge deal, just realize you will need an extension chord if you’re running it a long way.

Really love this label printer. With the right labels and the right app, I have been able to make labels for my aromatherapy products. I did initially have problems figuring out how to customize labels and I laboriously figured this out on my own.

I have no idea why anyone would give this printer a bad rating. Its so simple to use and set up. Its also very versatile and cost effective. Seems like a lot of the bad reviews are from older people that have no idea what they’re doing when it comes to any type of technology.

I have had a Brother label printer for the past 8 years and have loved it. I got a new one and again love it. It’s easy to install and easy to use. My next one I would love for it to be wireless. That would make it perfect.

You have to download the Windows 10 driver to your PC. Then it will plug and play. Once it works it is a great label printer. I have used Brother label printers for years. I just had to buy a new one to get it to work on a Windows 10 PB.

Returning this label printer. Spent few hours trying to figure out why it kept going offline. Removed the printer and reinstalled and after a while it would go offline. Contacted brother support who basically walked me through the same steps I had already done. Remove device, unplug, new cable. Ended up going to another store to get a dymo and it just worked right away. Super disappointed as I thought this was supposed to be the better label printer.

I am using this for Barcodes and shipping labels. It integrates with my retail software and still works independently. Auto cutting is an added bonus. I have an old QL-500 that is still serving me well after many years. I needed an additional unit and am pleased with this unit.
