Decent product; works as advertised But showed up WAY later than expected and frustration had already driven me to order different laptop. Was too late to cancel order, so here I am. These take far, far too long to come out after Apple releases new designs.

Great construction build quality. It feels solid and my laptop doesn’t feel like it will fall over. The footprint is small and beautiful. My computer inserts perfect, and it doesn’t scratch the aluminum at all. Minor issue is that there are only 2 USB-C ports. Increase that to 4 ports and this would be perfect. Very happy with it.

Works great and saves so much space on my desk. Super happy!
Emily Gulgowski (verified owner) –
Easy set up, great concept needs more USB C / Thunderbolt ports. Basically after connecting your power cable you’re left with one port? Who ever thought that was a good idea?

Product description did not state it would only fit Touch bar models. I own a non touch bar model. When I returned it, I still got hit with a restocking fee. Which in my opinion is poor customer service since the issue was theirs on poor product description on their website. Otherwise a very good looking and solid docking station.

Sleek and professional look dock that accomplishes all tasks as advertised.

When I slide computer into the dock, sometimes computer does not come up on screen, so have to keep taking it out and putting it back until it works. Would be nice if there was a power button too, if you didn’t want to physically pick it up and put it back in every time.

A dock that fits my purpose for a clean desk, productivity and style.

I want to start off by saying that I love my dock. It’s sleek, the aesthetic matches the rest of my peripherals perfectly, and it’s nice to have my laptop take up less space on my desk when docked. However, there is one minor issue, of the actual docking. Almost every time I slide my laptop into the dock, it takes a minute or two of adjusting to get the ports lined up. I was under the impression that the housing would guide the laptop properly, this is not the case. Maybe one or two times in my few weeks of using the dock it’s lined up perfectly, but it is a bit frustrating the rest of the time. I wish it were a little better in that one area, but otherwise it does it’s job wonderfully, and I would whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone with a MacBook Pro and external monitor.

Too bad I wasn’t aware that this stand cannot fit if the MacBook is with casing… else, it would be a nice add on. an adjustable clamp design would be good.

I originally was super excited to receive this device for my new MacBook Pro. After using it a few times I realized there is virtually a no way to remove from the charger without rubbing the laptop on the black sleeve. I feel as though over time the sleep will leave scratch marks on my 3K purchase. Although the Brydge charger is ascetically pleasing, it’s not worth damaging my investment. Also note that any iMac newer that 2016 will not work as a second or replacement screen. They removed that feature (plug in option).

Device probably fine but didn’t fit my 2021 16″ MacBook Pro.

Well built and handy.. but no speaker port? I need a speaker port on my dock!

The Brydge makes it possible for me to both record in my studio and work in my office without having to sync computers. It’s all one computer now, and it makes my life easier. Also frees up a lot of desk space. I had a bit of confusion in the beginning because the Brydge set-up was too close to my router. Keep the two of them apart and it’s all good.

I like the bridge and it keeps my desk tidier for sure. Although sometimes my laptop won’t ‘wake up’ and I have to take it out and use it for a short while and then put it back in for the screens to wake. I’m running 2 LG monitors from a 2019 MacBook Pro

Love it. Using it with my M1 MBA and Caldigit USB-C dock and there are no issues what so ever. The port protector is a nice touch!
August Kub (verified owner) –
Really beautiful design which cleans up your desk. BUT, it slows down the ports of the MacBook Pro. Connect my OWC envoy pro ex directly to my computer gives me 3363 MB/s write speed and 2773 MB/s read speed, passing it through Caldigit Element hub doesn’t effect the speed but through the Brydge vertical dock I only get 1091 MB/s write speed and 2346 MB/s read speed. That’s not even 1/3 of the possible read speed of this disk. NOT okey for such a expensive product.

It’s great. Gets the laptop off the desk. It looks terrific.

Above & Beyond best describes the experience I have enjoyed with all aspects of my purchase and use of this product. Very well designed, fully functional and aesthetically compliments my office very nicely. A great value!
