Saved space but now has stopped working. My Mac no longer clicks in place and charges while in the stand. Very disappointed

Like the dock for storing and charging my MacBook Pro but, I wish there was some visual way of knowing if my laptop is charging or not. I light or a tone or both would be appreciated.

Very Convenient dock to remove clutter from the desktop.
Sandrine Brakus (verified owner) –
It’s a nice design, but it really doesn’t hold my MacBook snug so it wobbles when I raise and lower my desk and the display ports often disconnect. Hard to recommend at the price.

Very pleased with this docking station works great with my triple screen docking station. They look as they were meant to be together. Very heavy duty and will last…
Kelley Smith (verified owner) –
Stand looks good with MacBook, works well and frees up room on the desk. Easy assembly.

I thought this was going to have USB ports and other things needed to use wireless keyboard and mouse. I still has to buy a separate converter. Total waste of money. And I bought two of these-what was I thinking?
Zakary Gerhold (verified owner) –
Poor design. It takes up 2 USB C ports and only has 2 USB C ports on the base. You lose 1 to the AC. So, you have to buy a dongle to get HDMI, additional USB, CAT 5. Definitely not worth the money.

Works as expected by providing a stylish vertical solution for docking 2019 Apple MacBook Pro 16. Easy dock with a grab and go design that makes it very easy to transition from desktop to mobile. The two USB-C ports provided are only extensions of the two USB-Cs on the MacBook so no problems after upgrading to Monterey Mac OS. Highly recommend.

The Brydge vert dock exceeded my expectations. The construction, quality and hardware of the product is exceptional. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I’ve used Brydge/Henge Docks for years now both for work and at home and I wanted to get one for my wife’s new MacBook Pro. I gotta say, I was pleased with the older docks, but this one is even better! It feels sturdier, and insertion and removal of the MacBook is so smooth. Very pleased with my purchase!

Initially, did not work well with my Apple 27 inch Thunderbold Display, but once I replaced with an LG monitor it works great with no issues. Great space saver on my desk . The material is also very good quality and well built. Brydge should consider adding additional USB-C ports or an HDMI port in future model. Overall, very satisfied.

Allows me to use my MacBook Pro as a desktop. Works great!

Nice design, same color as my MacBook Pro 15″, do the job. But there is some slack every side that is complicated docking in and we have to remove the MacBook when it crashed for any reason to restart it.

I’ve had my MBP dock for a couple months now and the laptop frequently pops out of the dock (just a bit, but enough to terminate the HDMI connection to external monitor). I purchased this dock because I had a good experience on a previous model back when it was branded as “Henge Docks”. However, while this newer model’s construction feels solid, the mechanism for keeping the laptop snug inside the dock feels really janky and disconnects at least a few times a day. Next time around I would skip this overcomplicated design and go for a dock with fewer moving parts.

There isn’t much to review here as there aren’t many features with the dock. My one problem, will cover later, is also subjective so it might not be a problem for all. Build quality: The build quality is great. I like that it is constructed of metal in all the places it can be. The cushioning system to ease laptop insertion is a really nice touch. The platform is stable. Not likely to fall over without it being it. The color is a nice contrast with the darker laptop. Ports: This is the only place where I have a problem. The dock has two. One for power and the other for what you want. I would like there to be 3 (or 2 and 1 ethernet). I use the one for power supplied by a port expansion and the second for usb-c to display port. The third would be use for the ethernet adapter that I don’t want to run through the expansion. Since I do have access to the ports on top of the laptop, I am able to use them but the look is pretty horrible seeing a dongle sticking out the top. Yes, I know you can get an expansion unit, I have one, but for the ethernet, I didn’t want anything between the laptop and the Gigabit dongle. Overall, I really like it. I do not regret the purchase and I expect that I will get the Brydge Stone pro at some point assuming that the ethernet port is gigabit.

Great looking design. However, the springs in the cradle don’t fully compress when my 15″ MacBook Pro is in place, so this makes it prone to disconnecting with any vibration on my desk.

The dock is well designed and works are advertised. I like the small footprint on the desk.

I don’t normally leave reviews like this but it is worth noting for anyone who is thinking about buying one of these docks that it performs wonderfully. I was able to take the cabling mess on my work-from-home desk completely away. Simplifying the connections to the Mac has made it so that I can simply remove the Mac and take it with me to another part of the house without unhooking even one cable. What a life simplification! Thanks Brydge for building such a successful product. I would highly recommend if this dock works with your Mac.

It seems expensive for what it is but it works very well without too much fuss
