I had very high expectations from the Dock but it actually is more sensitive than I thought. It happens that I move around my desk and nudge it or move it a bit, and very easily the dock gets detached from laptop and everything shuts off. I then need to restrengthen the connection and it takes a few more seconds until all is back to normal, but a very annoying little detail.

I had problems juggling a work laptop and a personal laptop while working from home. I got one dock for each macbook, and now my life is a breeze. If i want to sit at the table, i just pull out my laptop, never touching 1 wire. I put it back just as easy. Looks really clean on my desk. I also added a KVM switch to effortlessly switch between computers sith the push of a button. Combined with my new wireless mouse and keyboard, my desk setup quickly went from complete garbo to god-tier in just one week. Considering the amount of time i spend at my desk (12 hrs/day) its well worth it! I also have this KVM switch. I originally purchased the 12.9, 3rd gENERATION and had problems with the left post. I gave up and purchased the high end Apple touch pad. I had a fire with it and Apple returned a new one. I then sent the one for Brydge to my twin brother and he continued with the same problem and it was eventually repaired and repaired until a new one was sent him (I guess i should had kept at it myself). Now I am going to try and buy a new one again. Hopefully I will have no problem with this one.

The Brydge dock does exactly what it supposed to do. The dock design is high quality and sturdy. The color matching is great. Saves desk space and the connections work perfectly for power and peripherals.

I had hoped a recharging cord was included – very pricey for JUST a device to hold a macbook upright – still have to plug and unplug cords when I need to recharge it outside the dock.

Build quality is exceptional. Very solid. pictures/description unclear about USB-C attachments and they are recessed which wouldn’t allow my dual monitor j5create dongle to attach appropriately. Had to return. Sadly, return shipping/restocking not covered.

If the option were available it would have a zero or negative Star status!!! The MacBook Vertical Dock looks good, but does not function well at all. The connection to screen is sketchy at best, intermitted use then goes blank. Disappointing especially at the price point. The cord sent seems to have a shortage as well, intermitted function at best. Company refused to refund that defective product, returns are arduous the experience is not worth your time !!! Buyer be a wear…. Brydge has some other products wroth your time. This is not…unless looking to spend for a fancy paper weight.
