Great fit, design and packaging. Initially didn’t work when plugged in my Mac and monitor. Support team resolved issue. It was a common issue apparently. These types of things should included in the instructions or at least on the website.

I have a new MacBook Pro and am interested in not overheating the battery. This dock looks close to perfect in most respects but it introduces instability that is not acceptable. The computer will sometimes just instantly turn off. Or, the external hard drive will stop. Or, the Thunderbolt monitor will go blank. None of the above things happened before I got the dock and they do not happen now if I don’t use the dock. I returned the dock where a person said that she used it over a weekend and had no issues with it so it was returned to me with the exact same issues. Anyway, it is useless in my business.

Looks great but mbpro wobbles around a lot. Not a very sturdy setup. Build quality is ok. Good metal frame but the MacBook enclosure seems made of cheap plastic Wouldn’t buy it again for that price…

The dock keeps consistent connection, but a small bump on the table where the dock sits pops out the connection. It happened to me a few times, especially when I’m using to our work VPN through wired connection to my home router. Maybe the fit of the dock and Macbook should be a little snug so it prevents shaking thus getting disconnected when it gets bumped. That’s why I am giving it 3 stars.

Nice in concept, but has some issues. The laptop is barely heavy enough to compress the spring mechanism, so one side never sits completely flush. I think this causes intermittent connection issues because it only works about half the time. I usually have to plug/unplug it multiple times before my monitor and accessories will register.

When placing my MacBook Pro in the dock station, wifi would drop immediately. I placed the MacBook exactly as described in the manual that came with the dock station. I can only assume that the dock was blocking the wifi antenna, and I do not understand how this only happened to me as I do not see multiple reviews like this one.

Works well, but there is no clear marking on which way the laptop goes in (since the laptop has two ports on each side, you need to look for the small indents for the feet). Also, be aware it is extremely heavy – but that probably keeps it from toppling over!

Saves space on my desk and keeps my laptop cool. I like the new design which allows me to easily unplug the cables from the dock and take them with me. Materials and design are great.

Has no USB so you have to do a conversion to do usb and hdmi need to add these ports of part of the product to add printer and monitors

The Brydge itself seems fine. The dock is well constructed and very solid. Assembly is brain dead simple. It is a little difficult getting the MacBook Pro to slide in and out, but not terrible. What absolutely sucks is how bad the MacBook Pro itself is at docking and recognizing the monitor and posting up and down when connected with the laptop closed. I have a problem with it 2 out of three times I try to use it. So while this product itself is quite nice, it’s effectively barely usable thanks to the horrid Apple software.

Was on the fence for a while, wasn’t really sure if I “needed this”, but after having it can’t believe I went this long without it. Very simple, but it cleans the desktop up so much and it makes whatever aesthetic you’re going for pop! Best desktop purchase for sure!!!

Had the previous dock for a MacBook when the company was branded differently, and the new brydge branded dock is an upgrade over the previous by far. Most notably, being able to detach the base and its noticeably easier to insert the device and align the usb-c form factor without feeling like you are scratching your laptop up or breaking something when you miss. Now the dock guides the laptop in perfectly, at least with my MacBook Pro (Pre-M1). I use this with an LG thunderbolt 3 monitor without issue. Highly recommend, the finish and build quality are what you’d expect to match your Apple gear.
