Dock works perfectly. I love the added desk space I have with it being vertical. I had a previous thunderbolt 3 dock I connect to the Brydge which really makes it a perfect combo. In the middle of the day, I can easily pull my laptop out, work from the couch, then go right back for more productive hours.

I’m really trying to give this dock a chance, but it’s quite the headache. Not nearly as smooth and seamless as advertised. I have to restart my Mac occasionally for it to work properly. Also consider that Macs need to be plugged into a power source at all times for extended displays to even work… so I must have my power cord sticking out the top of my Mac (kind of unattractive). When if finally works, it’s great, but gosh does it take patience.

This is a sturdier version than the most recent Zagg brand but the clips that hold the iPad or a bit bulky and as such do not slide easily into sleeves or padded cases.

It’s a very nice and well designed docking station. Easy assembly with only one screw. I bought it knowing it’s capabilities but have a few suggestions. 1. It would be nice if it powered the laptop. 2. Add additional ports it eats 2 and has an output of 2.

I have both the Brydge 13″ Macbook Vertical Dock & the Stone. With the two of these combined I have brought my computer footprint to 8″x6″. I have used the Stone to port out to my monitor, hardwired internet, and external hard drives. while my Vertical dock keeps the Macbook charged, and operational. This is a fantastic setup especially for a home office or even a small office space at the home office. The system is sleek, efficient, and sexy. I highly recommend them separately but they are even better together.

The hope was to be able to slide the laptop in and quickly get to work, however, it takes a few tries every time to ensure the laptop lines up with the ports on the dock. I wished there was a better fit.

While the Brydge functions well and saves space on the desktop I wish that it also expanded the only two ports on the MacBook. Only having a port for the charger and one periphery really is a hassle when you have to hook up a monitor, hard drive and scanner at minimum.

I had originally given this product one star due to having waited over 3 months for my pre-order to ship with all the new orders. After receiving it today. however, I have to say that despite the frustration, this is a superior product to the last 2 Henge Docks vertical docks I’ve had. Way to go Brydge. You make a great product.

The product is solid, works well, and looks good. The only real complaint I have is it’s not reversible so I end up staring at the back of my laptop due to my work desk layout, and honestly its kinda overpriced for just a basic 2 port passthrough imo
