Well build, looks great, but should have more connections. When you put your MacBook in it connects to 2 of the 4 USB-c ports on the dock are just… USB-c ports, which means buying extra hubs to be able to connect screens mouse etc.

Such a fantastic product! This really helped me reclaim the space on my desk. The system is incredibly sturdy and heavy, which is good because a MacBook on its side could easily tip over, but not with this dock. It’s a high quality product, the Mac fits perfectly and is really easy to connect and disconnect. The protective stickers are a great touch to keep from accidentally scratching your computer but honestly I’m not sure how you would, there’s very little room to incorrectly fit the machine into the dock. The dock has two plugs in the back which means you can hook in a charger and external monitor with ease. The other two usb c ports are still accessible but it may be awkward trying to plug anything in. It looks great on my desk and is a wonderful accessory to my setup. I can also highly recommend their usb c to HDMI cable as well.

I thought this was going to have USB ports and other things needed to use wireless keyboard and mouse. I still has to buy a separate converter. Total waste of money. And I bought two of these-what was I thinking?

I was excited to get this dock and purchased it when it was still being sold under the Henge brand name. I’ve been using it daily since March and while I really appreciate the space it frees up on my desk (as well as minimizing my cable clutter) I have grown exceptionally frustrated with the docking / undocking process. Most of the time it does not connect on the first try and I have to try to reseat it over and over and over again which has been causing excessive wear on the Thunderbolt 3 ports of my Macbook Pro. No matter how I line it up it is always slightly off and I now have small dents surrounding the edges of my ports from the connectors not seating properly. Additionally, it definitely requires two hands to remove from the dock as it is a very snug fit (which in itself is not a bad thing as it is very secure, but it does not just glide out smoothly as implied). I do primarily use my Macbook Pro docked to my monitor, which is an LG 5K widescreen, and while it does work as intended for this purpose I frequently have to remove the laptop from the dock as the display freezes, forcing me to hard-reboot my Macbook Pro. I am still using it daily and will continue to do so, but I’m always anxious to have to remove my Mac from the dock knowing I’m going to have to spend a couple of minutes to seat it properly and go through a couple of reboots to get my display working properly, every time I want to plug it back in.

Nice design, same color as my MacBook Pro 15″, do the job. But there is some slack every side that is complicated docking in and we have to remove the MacBook when it crashed for any reason to restart it.

Too bad I wasn’t aware that this stand cannot fit if the MacBook is with casing… else, it would be a nice add on. an adjustable clamp design would be good.

This model needs work. All previous generations have had flawless alignment when inserting to dock. The 16″ model you have manipulate to find ports then almost force docking. With all the delays in releasing these tolerances should have been corrected. Very disappointed. Would not buy again.

Was on the fence for a while, wasn’t really sure if I “needed this”, but after having it can’t believe I went this long without it. Very simple, but it cleans the desktop up so much and it makes whatever aesthetic you’re going for pop! Best desktop purchase for sure!!!

The Brydge makes it possible for me to both record in my studio and work in my office without having to sync computers. It’s all one computer now, and it makes my life easier. Also frees up a lot of desk space. I had a bit of confusion in the beginning because the Brydge set-up was too close to my router. Keep the two of them apart and it’s all good.

I wish this was a proper dock something that actually uses the thunderbolt interface and puts it out to let’s say an Ethernet jack some usb type a ports a couple of hdmi ports, because as it stand I still need dongles hanging off the back which ruins the aesthetic. I would also love a couple type a ports in the front. As it sits it’s just a piece of metal that holds my MacBook vertical I can honestly do this with two book holders or open the laptop a bit and stand it up on the table…. this dock had a lot of potential. Looks decent

This is one of the coolest things I have for my office. The vertical dock for the 16in MacBook Pro is a product I’ve be asking for since Apple released the MacBook. Brydge did a fantastic job designing this. It holds the MacBook up right and trust me it doesn’t move. The weight of the dock is excellent and very well balanced preventing what we are all thinking; tipping over – it just won’t happen! Shopping took forever BUT, that was strictly due to the pandemic. The Brydge team was so attentive to my order and constantly checked in with me via email to ensure I got the dock on time. I would absolutely recommend this for any power users that love great design and functionality. P.s. I have two 5k displays contacted via daisy chain to one port and the Brydge pro dock connected to the second port.

It’s a nice design, but it really doesn’t hold my MacBook snug so it wobbles when I raise and lower my desk and the display ports often disconnect. Hard to recommend at the price.

I’m really trying to give this dock a chance, but it’s quite the headache. Not nearly as smooth and seamless as advertised. I have to restart my Mac occasionally for it to work properly. Also consider that Macs need to be plugged into a power source at all times for extended displays to even work… so I must have my power cord sticking out the top of my Mac (kind of unattractive). When if finally works, it’s great, but gosh does it take patience.

Clean look, small footprint, and works well. It would have made a lot of sense to add some more usb ports since this is obviously going to be used in an office setting. The power and additional screen both use one of the ports so a couple additional ports would have given this dock 5 stars. All in all a great unit
