I could really use more ports on this thing, I keep repeating that, hence the reason for the 4 stars, but otherwise, this is a nice piece.

I saw too late that my M1 MacBook air would not support 2 monitors, but I got over that. I have been having trouble though. I have to be very careful in how I insert the computer in the dock. Even with care it takes a few attempts to make it seat, and then it may take a few more to actual have it come on and the monitor come up. I love the looks and the space savings. I thought it would be more reliable.

I don’t normally leave reviews like this but it is worth noting for anyone who is thinking about buying one of these docks that it performs wonderfully. I was able to take the cabling mess on my work-from-home desk completely away. Simplifying the connections to the Mac has made it so that I can simply remove the Mac and take it with me to another part of the house without unhooking even one cable. What a life simplification! Thanks Brydge for building such a successful product. I would highly recommend if this dock works with your Mac.

I previously had a vertical dock from Brydge for my 2013 MacBook Air and loved it. So when i upgraded to a 2020 MacBook Air earlier this year, I knew I wanted another dock from Brydge to go with my Stone Pro dock. It was well worth the wait. This updated dock is even better than the last.

I wanted to love this… I was so excited for it. But I have a thin case on my Mac, just on the top section, and I have to take it off every time I put it in. It isn’t worth it to me… Im trying to live with it but its a not worth it to me… unfortunately I will be returning 🙁 I LOVE the concept…. wish it worked for me

It looks great and built with tremendous quality but really lacks the functionality I was hoping for. You don’t gain any connection points and in reality, lose one due to the fact that you HAVE to plug your computer into an outlet in order for it to work properly. It feels more like a tool to get me to buy one of the stone docks than something to clean up my desktop and make it easier to plug into my monitors.

When placing my MacBook Pro in the dock station, wifi would drop immediately. I placed the MacBook exactly as described in the manual that came with the dock station. I can only assume that the dock was blocking the wifi antenna, and I do not understand how this only happened to me as I do not see multiple reviews like this one.

Docking the laptop isn’t very smooth. It doesn’t seem to fit well so you have to wiggle it and move it up and down. The second issue is it doesn’t wake up when you use a connected mouse or keyboard so you have to remove from the dock, open the laptop, close it and put it in again. Would be nice if there was a button on the dock that could wake the laptop.

It’s OK, but not great. Spring tension is a bit stiff, and sometimes causes my Mac to lift off the usb connection, and disconnect. The only reason I didn’t return it is the small footprint on my desk, and I haven’t found another brand that is similar.

When I purchased it there was no option to select a color that matched my Macbook, so I took off 2 stars as it’s kind of a dark beige gray and I don’t like the clash of colors. Otherwise it works perfectly and is really the only vertical dock of any substance available.
