Just amazing! I can’t say enough good things about it. Just drop your laptop into the base and you’re ready to go. When you’re ready to head out, just pick it up to remove it. No holding the bottom or pulling with excessive force.. it’s just easy.

The look and feel of the vertical dock is quite nice – two solid pieces of aluminum securely mated at the bottom with little or no play. Nice tolerances and the anodization is well done. Two areas where improvements can be made are 1) the plastic liner that accompanies the inner plastic sheath the receives the laptop crinkles/crackles when you push the plastic sleeve down. It sounds like something is broken or lost inside of the stand. 2) I often have difficulty successfully mating the laptop on the first try. It seems that the usb’s either done align perfectly or there is too much spring force and this prevents the laptop from fully touching down. Happy to jump on a call if I can provide any more detailed information.

I am quite disappointed by the quality of the product, it does the job, looks good, but scratched my ports on my relatively new Macbook 15″ even when carefully inserted. The mechanism that lowers the machine into the port wasn’t smooth at all. In my viewed, the design is fundamentally flawed. A suggestion for future products; you might want to create a detachable module that plugs into the 2 USB-C ports first before insertion into the base. This way you lower the risk of scratching the ports of your customers’ Macbooks.

This is a nice idea, but it is too bulky to sit on a desk especially when used in conjunction with the Bridge Stone Pro. I am going to back to my Twelve South Bookarc because it sits on the desk better and the there is a place to run the cables under it so they take up less room on the desk.

I have one of these for my 13″ MacBook Pro, too… and this one seems to work a bit better. The 16″ Pro is heavy enough that it weighs down the spring mechanism enough to have the computer sit all the way in the dock without any problems. Nice and snug. The 13″ computer is just light enough that sometimes, it sort of pops out a bit. This thing is built like a tank, and I’m looking forward to years of daily use. The Pro vents just fine when docked and the large base keeps me happy knowing hat my precious Mac will not fall over… it would take an awful lot to topple this thing! I appreciate the thoughtful design of this accessory and 100% believe it is worth the price for how I use it.

The product is solid, works well, and looks good. The only real complaint I have is it’s not reversible so I end up staring at the back of my laptop due to my work desk layout, and honestly its kinda overpriced for just a basic 2 port passthrough imo

I have a new MacBook Pro and am interested in not overheating the battery. This dock looks close to perfect in most respects but it introduces instability that is not acceptable. The computer will sometimes just instantly turn off. Or, the external hard drive will stop. Or, the Thunderbolt monitor will go blank. None of the above things happened before I got the dock and they do not happen now if I don’t use the dock. I returned the dock where a person said that she used it over a weekend and had no issues with it so it was returned to me with the exact same issues. Anyway, it is useless in my business.

Connected with my Samsung Monitor. Normally works with my USB C to Display Port cable but it DOES NOT work when I connect the cable to my HENGE-DOCKS. Changed the cable to two different one. Still no display to my monitor. Very sad.
