We purchased one for IPDAD Pro and one for Surface Pro. Best keyboard for these devices on the market. And they are from right here in Park City, Our home town.

Excellent quality. Practically my Surface into a Laptop. Highly recommend.

I hope that the function to select F1-F12 rather than the substitute keys can be restored in future versions, but that is not enough reason to remove a star from a superior product that most should be able to get working out of the box in minutes, which is shipped and arrives in a few days, and is good value for money.

It’s a nice keyboard although I’ve found the mouse to lag and I did all my updates on my computer so it’s definitely the trackpad itself. Also, you have to really click hard for the trackpad to work. Definitely different than the magnetic keyboard that you can get with the pro. But it’s a cool way to make it into a laptop instead of using it as a tablet. Wish the trackpad was a little more responsive but overall it’s a good product!

Most sturdy keyboard option on the market. Needing a recommended screen protector to be added to the product line would be a plus.

Solid accessory. REALLY like it. Highly recommend it. Only concern is that sometimes the bluetooth touchpad isn’t connected when I wake up the computer and doesn’t reconnect right away…and I don’t know how to push a reconnection. Bluetooth MIGHT effect bluetooth headphones too, but not sure. All that said, I’m tempted to buy 3 more for all the surface pro machines we have in my house!

Quick connectivity to my surface pro 7 and no lag. Very happy with this purchase. Keyboard feels solid as well.

I had the first generation of the Brydge keyboard for my Surface Pro 3 and 4 and I loved it and I was excited to get a chance to test out the new version of the keyboard. I have always had high hopes for a 2nd gen keyboard and for Brydge to be successful, this definitely fills a need. I remember way back watching Nick’s videos as he would give updates on keyboard and the progress from design to factory to shipping. Congrats on where you are and continued success. Everything about this new keyboard is fantastic. It is lighter than the previous one, the hinges are new and they are smaller, less pressure on the screen, and the trackpad is amazing. The trackpad on the first generation was my biggest gripe and it is truly amazing on this new one, it is larger and the leftright click and gestures are very precise. I love the black keyboard with the silver back to match the Surface Pro, so stinking beautiful. The lapability is amazing and has great balance on the lap or desk. The Bluetooth is quick to activate from sleep. I have had the keyboard for going on two weeks and I haven’t had to charge it yet. The update to USB-C for charging, is a great upgrade as well. The only negative I have is the typing experience and I may have a keyboard that slipped by QA. If you take the keyboard keys and separate it into three quadrants the first and third quadrant (far left and far right) the keys when typing are nice, quiet and smooth. The middle quadrant of keys on the keyboard when typing flexes and it makes an extra clicking sound when typing. I want to hear from others to see how their typing experience is. If I am a lone case, than this keyboard is a winner in my book, game changer. My ratings Design & Visual Look: 10/10 (Weight & Silver back to match Surface / Black Keyboard) *Battery: 10/10 (Bluetooth & waking from sleep) (I haven’t had it long enough to run it truly through its paces) Touchpad: 10/10 (Accuracy & Precision) Keyboard: 8/10 (I am hoping that this is just a bad unit, some of the keys click and some flex in the keyboard) Labability: 10/10 (Great balance) Score: 48/50 ‘ Knocked it out of the park with the 2nd Gen keyboard. This is keyboard that should come with the Surface Pro.

I purchased the original Brydge 13.3 keyboard for the surface pro 7. My girlfriend liked it so much, I bought her one too, so I was pleased to be invited on the beta test program and to compare the old and the new. The Brydge 12.3 pro gives you the battery life of the surface pro and the ability to have a full laptop without the compromise of the Microsoft Surface Laptop. This new version of the Brydge 123. pro improves on what was already a good product. Improved feet on the base to stop slipping, black face instead of aluminium around keys, improved palm rest area and a usable trackpad fully supporting windows 10 gesture controls. Installing and removing the keyboard is easily achieved allowing the surface to be used as a tablet when required.

The Brydge Pro 12.3 for Surface pro is so close to perfect. It makes the Surface “laptop” experience much better compared to the cover keyboard from MS. The keys are perfect, providing just the right resistance. It feels like you’re typing on an expensive keyboard (which you are). The only issue is the trackpad. It is inconsistent, and often lags, reminiscent of older bluetooth devices. I’ve checked the settings on my Surface, adjusted sensitivity all to no avail. If the trackpad functioned as well as the keys this would be a 5 star review. Overall I am satisfied with the device but trackpad delay reduces the satisfaction of the experience.

This keyboard works great and it’s much better than the original keyboard. It stands up and doesn’t flip around! It’s easy to carry the surface pro from room to room and it doesn’t separate from the tablet.

So far I’m really enjoying it. Has a bit of a usability curve getting adjusted to it’s dimensions, but I really love the keys. I can actually use my SP7 on my lap! I really wish I could set the backlit keys to stay on instead of going off after a short period of time. Or at least be able to turn them on with the trackpad. Oh, and be careful with it touching your bare legs, it’s really cold! LOL

I got one yesterday and it does not turn on. Left it charging the whole night and it does not work at all

The counter weight of the base almost makes you want a proper laptop, but for a space saving option to repurpose a Surface from an office machine to a home laptop, the Bluetooth keyboard is ideal. The finish and quality is excellent. I have not needed to charge the keyboard in the weeks since I received it, and based on current performance I am expecting close to a year per battery charge cycle for casual home use. Overall, very happy with my purchase thus far!

Really was hoping for better coming from originally 12.3. Still have interference issues with my usb receiver mouse which I was hoping would be cleared up with Bluetooth 5.0. Seems like it takes longer for the keyboard to wake than the Surface, my last keyboard had a much better response time. The bigger trackpad is nice but I’m still up in the air as to whether I liked the way the keys felt on the original 12.3 vs the 12.3+.

Loved my Brydge 12.3, but this upgrade keeps all that I love and cranks the knob to 11! The Brydge 12.3 Pro+ and my Surface Pro 7 are still thinner than most laptops. The Surface is held firmly and yet removes easier. The improved hinges are great! The enlarged touchpad really becomes a true useable interface rather than a nice feature. This thing sips energy! Already a month in and still on its initial charge. Great job with this upgrade. Can’t wait to see what is next!!

I like this keyboard a lot better than the one that comes from Microsoft, because it basically turns my Surface pro into a laptop, the way it hooks onto it. I like how it holds my Surface up. The backlight for the keys is my favorite feature because I can see the keys easier. The battery life is amazing. It’s easy to type with. Great quality for sure!

easy to use, very sturdy, nice key clicks. my surface pro stopped recognizing the original type cover and this bluetooth keyboard solved my problem perfectly. it has a good weight to it and the keys are very similar to the type cover. battery lasts forever (i haven’t had to recharge it yet), but even when i do have to charge it, i’ll just plug it into the usb-c port on my surface which is super convenient.
