This silver aluminum keyboard is designed to fit onto Surface Go and Go 2 tablet computers with an adjustable 180° hinge and a wireless Bluetooth 5.0 connection that converts the device into a laptop for fast typing and multi-finger touchpad control. For added convenience, the lightweight keyboard features three levels of backlighting to increase visibility in darkened environments. Using the keyboard with the backlight on provides about 20 hours of battery life, and it can be recharged through the USB Type-C port using the included cable. The keyboard doubles as a slim protective cover, allowing you to quickly pack up your Surface Go when traveling.

Love the keyboard love the precision trackpad I love how it feels to type battery life is amazing, the only problem is that it pinches the left side of the screen but it only shows up a slight bit white on a black screen such as when booting and is not noticeable most of the time.

I was looking for a 10″ subnotebook and found nothing I liked, so I turned to the Surface/Brydge combo. They are nicely mated. I was especially glad to see that all of the keys remained in a familiar layout. Many keyboards in this size will relocate less-used keys to save space. I had one unexpected hiccup: Fn+Alt turns off the trackpad (with no onscreen notification). I was very close to returning the it until I downloaded the instruction manual, read it cover to cover and said Aha! I’ve had to change my muscle memory from Fn+Alt+F4 to Alt+Fn+F4. Pros: Long battery life. Good key travel and feedback. Full set of keys, including left/right alt, and function row. Cons: The aluminum base has sharp corners. I am unable to adjust the trackpad speed in Windows settings, but I got used to it. The charging port is on the opposite side of the Surface, so you can’t carry an emergency 3″ cable to charge it.

Incredibly well designed and built. Outstanding quality and fits the Surface Pro 3 exactly with unbelievable precision. Cannot really comment on battery life because I haven’t had to charge it yet, so full rundown and recharge need to gauge. Very touch-typeable keyboard with firm buttons that are nice and responsive, just like the trackpad. I am considering buying another for my upcoming iPad later this year too.
